Lilyview Cottage is located on a gorgeous secluded 100 acre hideaway overlooking a brilliant escarpment with a spacious and secluded lush green paddock all to yourself (except for a few friendly cows and some wombats). The Southern Highlands is famous for its epic landscape, amazing waterfalls and fresh country air. There is also a cheese factory, good coffee, fine food and wine all nearby! The perfect property for couples, families, and friends looking to getaway and relax. Lilyview Cottage is located in the sleepy village of Robertson – big enough to offer cafes, speciality shops, restaurants, markets and groceries but quieter than some of the other Highlands towns such as Bowral or Berrima. This is relaxed holidaying amongst nature at its best with civilisation right at your doorstep! Relax by the log fire in winter and feel free to pick our fresh herbs and fruit from the trees. This property offers the complete package.! The town of Robertson is a 6km drive (11mins) and there are plenty of activities nearby. In town, choose your dining experience from bistro, pub, cafes, country kitchens or restaurants. The acclaimed “Pizzas in the Mist” is defiantly worthy of a visit! Market day is every 2nd Sunday of each month from 8.30am until 3pm, so browse through bric-a-brac galore. You can also visit the famous “Big Potato” or make a trip to one of the many waterfalls - Belmore Falls, Carrington Falls, Fitzroy Falls, Nellies Glen etc. - have a dip, take a walk, or enjoy a picnic! Stop by the Robertson Cheese Factory to see the antiques, collectibles and enjoy a coffee, or sip an ale on the verandah of the Robertson Inn……there’s so many choices, just be sure to stay long enough to enjoy it all!
