"Very pleased with our stay, the rooms were roomy and quite comfortable We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and we ate all our meals at the Highlands dining rooms and the food and service was excellent. We will be back!"

"Elevator is old, small and clunky. Clean room - nice size but the room floors are slanted and squeak with every step. We were on top floor - wonder what it sounded like below us. Very good breakfast but the Denver omelette wouldn’t be acceptable in Denver. Easy parking. Nice view of the lake if you pay extra to stay in a room on that side of the hotel."

"Stayed at this property the night before the Labor Day Mackinac Bridge walk. Convenient location - just a short drive the morning of the walk. Clean and the staff person at the desk was very friendly. Would recommend this hotel as a place to stay in the area or as a well-priced option to a Mackinac/St. Ignace hotel."
