"The room was very large, the location has easy access to everything you need, restaurants and interstate. Didn't have much interaction with staff because I didn't need anything (check in was fast and easy) did have a great breakfast for the price. It's an older hotel so don't expect fancy, till you go for breakfast, the dinning room is fabulous."

"Location is as described on Lake Ontario, rural and very quiet. Listing has 3 bathrooms, however only 1 was operational and barely operational at that. This was communicated to the hosts and they sent someone out to check, the repairman informed us that the valves and tank would need to be replaced and that he couldn't do that, so our group of 12 was stuck with only one bathroom to use with barely any water pressure. Then on Thanksgiving night the living room entryway/ceiling began leaking profusely, there were high winds throughout out our stay, but not most precipitation so the leaking was just water from the lake being sprayed by the wind onto the roof. The host and vrbo were contacted about the leak, no one ever came to deal with it or communicated further about it. The lower level of the home has obvious water damage, the walls have the water line markings from flooding at some point, the closet moulding in the bunk room had visible mold, and pillows in the closet had visible mold. The home also had the tell tale smell of mold throughout that the cleaners had attempted to cover up with very strong fragrance and having left windows cracked open. Comforters on beds were dirty. There was also no broom or vacuum, we bought a broom and left it for future guests. The kitchen was well stocked with all necessary items for cooking, you must supply your own water for drinking and likely cooking in my opinion too due to the well not having filtration. "
