No daily housekeeping stayed 3nights. Only One outlet in the room. Paid for a queen got a full, no queens available in the hotel per front desk. Breakfast is a joke you can only choose from their daily selection and everything else is additional even milk for coffee. Killed two roaches in the room.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was nice, but the building is old, so expect cracks and dirt and some rusty faucets and repairs needed. The breakfast was good, but very slow service, so expect to be there for a while. Only one thing more to say: there is a rooftop bar right behind the hotel, so expect noise all night every night. If you can sleep through it, the beds are comfy. If you can't, try and find a hotel a couple blocks away from the center of town.

This is the worst property I have ever stayed in. We got relocated to this property after our first property abruptly canceled and it was really bad. There were only three towels in each room for five people, there was only sheets on the bed and no blankets, there was no window glass in the bathroom window. so it was impossible to secure the room. The old lock on our door on the inside was completely broken. There is a nightclub on the building just outside our door and it played till 3 AM so we couldn’t sleep. The continental breakfast was only one option which ended up being good but there was no choice so I’m not sure how you can call it continental. The staff was the best part they were very sweet. If it wasn’t for them, I would give this property and 0. I think you should rewrite the description, because if anybody wants sleep at all before 2 AM, you should not stay here. I honestly don’t think that this property needs to be removed from the options but it should definitely not be the price it is it is not worth it and the description should at least say no blankets and the room should be secure.!!!

STAY AWAY! Cockroaches were in our room the day we arrived and more after housekeeping swept the first round away. Pool smelled of urine and no staff can speak English. We left and went to another resort which was the best thing we did. DO NOT STAY HERE!

I will never know because we were told we would not be able to stay at Hotel Maya Turquesa due to a broken air conditioner and moved to another hotel but this one did not have a swimming pool.

Not once did they change my towels. I stayed there for 3 nights. And in the morning after I bathe I put my dirty towels on the floor to only find them hanging back up.

One of the worst hotels I’ve been.
The front desk people, except two of them. Were the worst customer attention i have received in a hotel. They don’t care about the customer experience and helping their consumers either. From a small question about parking to invoices requests. They never help.

I requested a first floor room. They gave me a 3rd floor room lots of stairs. It took them 6 days to relocate me to a lesser quality furst floor room after several requests. The oroperty is is very aging and needs lots if care. My initial room had lights out, curtain rod fell, no blankets, no toolet psper holder, very shabby. Best part is location.

This hotel is definitely a two star hotel. You get what you pay for. The pictures on Expedia must’ve been taken when the hotel was first set up. However, there is a lot of wear and tear our room door handle was broken, barely hanging however, the deadbolt was sufficient to keep the door closed. Our room was by the stairs so You could hear the party goers coming up the stairs at 4 AM which would wake us up. We could also hear everything that was happening in the kitchen when dishes were being cleaned up or put away, this, too, would wake us up early morning, The bed linen and towels also showed wear and tear. Our beds only had sheets on them. No extra covers so we would use our towels to cover ourselves up to keep warm at night. If you book a room here, make sure to bring a light bed cover. Our booking was for a standard queen size bed instead we were put in a room with two double beds and told us that was an upgrade which, in fact we didn’t feel like it was an upgrade because it was my husband and I we didn’t need a second bed, the ceiling fan if put on anything above low would squeak all night. All staff were very friendly and nice and welcoming so this made our stay a bit more on the pleasant side. Kitchen staff were also very pleasant and friendly. Sadly, when we tried to order bacon for our eggs, there was none available for multiple days. The location of this hotel is perfect to get to the beach in minutes and also plenty amenities all walking distance

The location was the reason that I stayed here. Right in the middle of the action. The room was very basic but just what I needed. It would be great if there was a fridge in the room or at least an ice machine on property. Also I asked for an iron twice but each time someone else was using it. You get what you pay for I guess.

Decent enough for the price
The hotel is not at all as advertised but it IS CLEAN! the bed was very soft and comfortable, albeit there were no covers or blankets only sheets. The day staff were very friendly and helpful, the evening staff were more about hanging out but hey it’s Mexico so I’d probably do the same so no harm, no foul. I didn’t love my room so I checked out a day early but that was mostly because I wanted an actual window. The hotel is centrally located to 5th Ave, lots of places to shop and eat.

Nothing like how the pictures show , honestly I had to cancel my reservation cuz the place didn’t looked like I thought will be , it says has a parking space but it didn’t have , the receptionist tell me to leave my car in the parking lot of Walmart Store , something didn’t want to do cuz I didn’t want to risk the car I was renting, plus I had baby , how dear I will risk to be walking every night all the way from Walmart to the hotel !! Plus the hotel want to charge me $60 dls fee for cancellation , but Expedia helped me to cancel with out fee charge because they promise something that they don’t really have . Not a good place to staying honestly .

Property in poor condition, pool poor condition, room had roaches!! Toilet was so nasty, towels supposed to be white, there were grey. Never did they changed linens in our entire stay we stayed 4 nights. Mold on bathroom ceiling. Never would we think of staying there.

Awful experience.
Hotel is in very bad shape no sense of security at night the door lock is a very primitive one. Hotel looks dirty and old. I will not stay there ever again.

Nice hotel, I will come again.
Great stay except for the music playing from the Restaurant next door. It woke me up from sleep a few times. However the manager was nice enough to let the Restaurant next door to keep it down.
