"The host is very nice and quick to respond! The rooms were very clean and the beds are comfortable! It was perfect for our family of 5. We stayed outside most of the time in the river and in the hot tub! We left firewood for the next guest! We will be back!"

"Riverbend was perfect for our weekend family getaway! Family members of all ages will do great with this location. The bedrooms are very spacious; bathrooms are large and can accommodate a large family’s needs. We especially loved the well equipped kitchen, screen porch overlooking the river, and spending the day playing in the river. The location is quiet and peaceful. We could have spent another day or two and wouldn’t have to leave the house area."

"This is a beautiful VBRO. Very clean, with comfortable beds. Very stocked with amenities. Beautiful view of the water and tons of deer walking around. Close to town. Communication with owner was excellent and she was very friendly. We will definitely return to this property!"

"We loved this cabin. Everything is close by but you still get the outdoors atmosphere. We loved carter's lake and the tubing here on the river. We wish we had brought kayaks. They provide everything you could possibly need. They also communicate fast and friendly. Definitely want to come back"

"Overall, the property was good. It is in a great location with a lot of wildlife every day. The one thing that was a little off was the pictures showing the water. Although it is right on the water, it fails to mention that there is about a 15 foot wall that drops off to the water. Not the worst thing ever, but definitely requires a little navigating to get down to it. When putting the trash in the trashcan, you should be careful because you might wake up one morning to it being overturned and all of the trash pulled out of it like we had. Maybe a trashcan with a lockable lid might be a nice improvement. I would definitely recommend this place for a small group looking to get away to the mountains."

"Helen was very communicative and responsive throughout our stay. The home is very spacious and we were so glad we were able to bring our springer spaniel along! We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, game room and opportunities to feed the deer!"

"The house was extremely clean ! There was a nice ramp that was great if you have anybody with any mobility issues.Very comfortable. Lots of room to spread around beautiful outdoor area… great for family … especially with animals the backyard has a fence around the majority of it as well as the huge deck."
