This does not control sound absorption and acoustics very well. It was extremely echo-y and both nights we were woken up past midnight by the people beside us by just watching tv and chatting perhaps at a louder than normal volume however we could hear the tv word for word. We could also hear the transport trucks on the highway all night as well as the restaurant employees doing their garbage dump run which was directly below outside. Location is good and overall atmosphere was nice. Very nice hotel overall. We just ran into a couple issues. Despite booking a 2 queen room, they overbooked and we were downgraded to a king and sofabed, told it was an upgrade at no additional charge, but it certainly wasn't. We realized we weren't provided sheets for the sofabed, so we called housekeeping. We never received the sheets so we used the top sheet off of the king bed for our daughter. The sofabed was as hard as a rock. Honestly surprised she was able to sleep. Also, the parking lot for "larger vehicles" was a joke. The lane to get in was so narrow you almost had to go over the curb and the space in between the rows effectively trapped you. I know finding parking downtown is difficult but this was laid out so poorly. Ideal location for a university tour though! Really wish our room would have been discounted because it was definitely a downgrade, but I didn't request it as the hotel was absolutely packed.
