"High recommend, owner made an effort to make sure we had everything needed. Very good restaurant on site maybe one of the best in town. This town has a free shuttle from the public parking lot and stop directly at the hotel and other stops in town. Parking is always my biggest issue with visiting towns in Italy and this gets an A+. Also, I left two bags in my car in the lot and they were still there in the morning so I felt it was very safe and secure."

"We arrived via the not fit to drive at night broken road and upon arriving decided NOT to stay even though we had paid. The hotel pics must be very old as it looks like something from a horror film. Flaky paint, badly kept gardens and flies in our room. We handed back the key and left. The road to the property is horrendous. "Great location and staff. Few quirky bits. There is no need to be charged for towels to the beach at a beach hotel and a 5Euro fee when a towel is used for an hour is silly. In respect of the staff, they did waive that fee, but it should never be charged in any case. It's too bad the restaurant is only a breakfast and lunch option as many travellers would like too tay and enjoy the wonderful scenery All in all 5 stars and good value."

"Even though there was a large picture of a swimming pool in the advertisement, it cost 30 euros per person for an hour and a half. This included the spa facility but we were not interested in the spa, only the pool. Also we were unlucky when a group of cyclists (30 of them) had dinner at the same time as us on the first day and they were so loud that we could not talk amongst ourselves. Otherwise the food was very good and so was the service."

"This hotel is gorgeous! The photos don't do it justice. Everything faces the sea, the rooms, the dining room, the pool and of course the beach. We loved the beach with the chairs and umbrellas overlooking the Aeolian Islands. The beach has fist sized rocks that have been made smooth from the waves. They make a sweet crackling noise as the waves recede. I've never experienced that before. The owner went out of his way to find a relative in Caronia for my traveling partner. She was blown away and I'm sure she will be back. Bring water shoes and Google an app for translation as Caronia isn't your typical resort town. Be sure to message them when you will arrive at the train station and they will nicely come get you. This hotel is a hidden gem!!"

"We’d found the lodging by chance as we were driving across the island. The owner met us in front of the home at 10pm, all smiles, and in the room we found every conceivable amenity from ear plugs to toiletries. Clean and delightful. The breakfast the next morning was set up for the two of us with place settings, fruit, a cake that was a local specialty, meats, cookies, and she even made us farm fresh eggs. Amazing! A nice surprise after a long journey."
