"We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Domaine Jean-Got. The hosts were very friendly, spoke good English, and the check-in smooth. The domaine is close to the river and the small town of Branne, well located to get to Saint Emilion and a few other nice villages. Most of all though we just enjoyed relaxing on site on the terrace and pool. We also loved the miniature donkeys! "Really great location near the tram stop which goes to the airport and into the city. The kitchen area is really helpful if you want to make anything to eat in your room. "We spent three lovely nights at this adorable and perfectly located hotel in the heart of Bordeaux. La Tour Intendance is exactly the type of place we enjoy staying when visiting cities in France and Europe in general. It is quaint with historic features and feels very much part of the historic part of Bordeaux. Its location is a short walk from the nearest Tram line (to the airport or other parts of the city), and to explore the city on foot. The street itself, while only a few moments walk from busier roads and the old town, is a beautiful curved primarily pedestrian street. This was especially enjoyable while sitting at their outside tables with a coffee or a bottle of wine. The staff are absolutely lovely. I made an enquiry before even booking and received a timely and helpful response regarding the possibility/process for a late check in. In person everyone we interacted with were a delight. We will stay here again without question the next time we visit Bordeaux."
