This is the most discusting hotel I have ever stayed at! Mildew and mold everywhere in the room. The toilet doesn't flush and the AC is leaking onto the floor creating a puddle. Homeless people right outside of the hotel. I paid for a room with a balcony and ocean view, but got a balcony with a view of a nasy alleyway. On top of it all front desk attendents are scamming tourists by selling carnival tickets for 4 times the price that it says on the ticket. I should've know it was a scam when he said no credit cards, only cash. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy

Stay away!!
The room was 20sqm, but who knew the bed would be 18sqm!! No space to move around. Very difficult and uncomfortable. Poor amenities. Staff don't care. It seems they give these rooms to those who book through Expedia or hotels.com. but not to direct booked customers!

Excellent location right in the centre of Copacabana (with Ipanema only a 20 minute walk away). Good selection of restaurants nearby as well - very friendly staff, eager to help.

Staff friendly and helpful. Bed, pillows, bedding were great. Decent options for breakfast, especially since i eat a light breakfast. Bathroom looks bit tired. There was some mold in the shower. Overall good value for money, based on its location across the Copababana beach.

Very friendly and helpful staff. A lovely and comfortable room with a great view of Copacabana beach. A very clean hotel. The reception staff helped me to find a nearby supermarket and kindly printed off a map for me. I had breakfast at the hotel and the food was lovely. The bar staff in the evening were very helpful and friendly and chatted to me as I was staying there alone.

Check in was very easy and reception was very friendly. Unfortunately, we arrived in late so there wasn’t many options for food. Would have appreciated some assistance or a little rundown to the lay of the land since this was a first time visit. Even a short safety briefing would have been good. Rooms very basic for the price but I guess that is what you pay for great location to Copacabana beach.

Great location, modern hotel, lovely staff.
Fantastic location middle of copacobana beach. View from Seaview suite amazing. Rooms modern, good AC and quiet considering the noisy area outside. Staff at hotel all super helpful, friendly and pleasant. Nice chilled vibes hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice and lovely views over the beach. Cleaning standards let this hotel down. Room didn't get refreshed sheets for days (we stayed 6 nights) and had to ask for this. Bathroom needs a good clean. Restaurant area cleaning a little less than the standards you'd expect after a pandemic. Staff not really on it, with clearing and cleaning between people. No late check out possible and no shower place, although they found a solution when I'd asked enough! The room was great, had a safe and minibar. However, nespresso machine didn't work for days as plug didn't fit in wall... and no fix given till day 3.. And we're only allowed 1 free coffee in 6 days in the room! A crazy system. Not what you'd expect for an average of £260 per night! Cleaners didn't replace or refresh drinking glasses. These small things really let it down. But overall, a great base to explore Rio ...and more modern than many surrounding hotels.

2 Night Stay at the Beach
This location on central Copacabana Beach cannot be beat. You are right in the middle of the action with as much beach, restaurants, beach bars, flea markets (2) and street vendors you can take in. The staff is helpful with check in and a late check out as well as suggestions for restaurants and tours in the area. Their own restaurant, with both indoor and outdoor seating, is well staffed with friendly people and their food is quite good. We had (included) breakfast each day and lunch one day as well. You can walk right across the street to the beach and the hotel offers a card for complimentary chair and towel rental--although we were too busy for beach time so we can't rate that service. We booked and got the promised beach view from the third floor with wall to wall windows. The decor is definitely boutique like you see in the pictures, the rooms are well kept and our room was spotless. Strangely, our room was not made up after the first night but that was minor. We highly recommend.

Well located. Price is very reasonable compared to other hotels. Small yet it has most features of a full service hotel. Very well maintain beds linnen amenities and bathroom are good. The staff is very well trained and helpfull. I had a balcony room with partial ocean view. This hotel is a very good choice if you want to be in copacabana and enjoy the hustle and bustle of rio.

Great stay!
The hotel is very chic. Rooms are small. We were given a handicap room on first night. The bathroom door was broken, water was leaking and there was no view of sea. So we asked to change rooms. Next day we moved to smaller room with partial sea view just like the booking. Breakfast was amazing- so many options to choose from. They had hot water kettle but we had to ask for an iron. Overall great stay. So close to the beach!

To start the hotel definitely has a vibe and it’s a lovely place. The staff at check in are friendly and helpful and all have great English. Breakfast has very limited choice but is good. Major let down is the hotel rooms are really noisy, the windows/doors are poorly fitted and single Payne meaning the noise from the streets comes in and so does the rain.

Hotel was very clean and safe. Staff allowed us to check in early.WIFI was great. Breakfast was not free. If you need a covid test do not ask the staff for help with that or you will pay a huge sum of money. There is a drug store two blocks away that will charge you about $26 USD and you get your result in a few minutes. The staff is very good and will help with what you need.

The air conditioner in our room did not work properly. I barely slept at night and the problem continued for four nights. Sometimes the air conditioner would turn off without cooling the room it was difficult to get the machine back on. Repeated attempts to call technicians for correction did not improve the situation.

Really disappointing stay. From the moment we arrived the service offered was awful. The breakfast was not good. The rooms are tiny. Spend the extra $15 and get a better hotel room.
