Excellent customer service! Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast options. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Everything worked fine. Area and location is perfect (very centric, safe, cute). No complaints. Perhaps the only thing would be that they did not offer Shampoo and Conditioner as separate items, but in a single mixed fancy bottle. I prefer these two to be separated and not combined. Overall: A Thanks again to the awesome staff!

Desperate needs a renovation....
The hotel is definitely well located but it really needs some improvements/renovation. Everything is so old that gives you a sad feeling about it. Breakfast also needs to improve a lot. Is not nice have to wait for a long time to sit as there are only few tables. What makes it nice is of course location and the people. Very nice people. But I would definitely not stay there again.

Residencial boutique hotel, more personal relationship among everyone, guests and employees. Rooms doesn’t have sound block so we easily hear outside noise from the bars and road traffic.

Location could not be better. Excellent breakfast (don't forget to ask if you want eggs as they are done on demand). Beach agreement with "barraca" 104 works great.

Excellent hotel one block in from Ipanema Beach
This was a relatively last minute booking while in Brazil with a plan to return to Rio for one last night. Due to flight plans and arriving late on the night of our arrival, I contacted the hotel to ensure that the reservation would be held since we'd be checking in after 11pm. The hotel responded very quickly and everything was set. The hotel, itself, is a beautiful, boutique hotel with a lovely lobby and restaurant area where a delicious breakfast was served. The room, itself, was great. It had its own balcony, was a newly constructed/renovated room with all the necessary amenities. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was very reasonably priced and, fortunately, available on short notice; probably because we stayed in August, which is their "winter." I would absolutely book this hotel again and will look for it if I travel to other cities where there are locations. Thanks for a great stay!

The hotel has an excellent location one block away from Ipanema beach. The front desk staff were very helpful when asked any questions about local sites of interest and services

Nice hotel one block from the beach
A nice hotel a block away from the beach and close to the shopping area in Ipanema. The room is comfortable, nice amenities, and a good and fulfilling breakfast, which is offered late on Saturdays (a plus if you want to sleep late). Clean hotel and very friendly staff. I'll definitely stay there again.

arrived very early before check in and staff were very accommodating and let us use shower facilities. due to being so early i stored luggage and jumped in taxi and went to see christo. very good location next to the beech and lots of restaurants within 10 minutes from the hotel. staff were very friendly and spoke english very well. i would definitely reccomend the hotel due to the location and the service of the staff

We were there a very short time, but the room was nice, and the hotel is in a very nice shopping and dining area while only being a block from the beach. Reception staff went out of their way to help with all our luggage and arrange last minute transportation to the airport when the one I ordered didn't show up.

This is the second year I have stayed here, and I have consistently been satisfied. The room are clean and the hotel is nice. It is is a very convenient location and close to everything. The price is a great value.

Upon arrival to the hotel the staffs were very friendly, helpful and took good care of u, we did have any delay checking in it was very easy and did not have to wait to long for the rooms, everyone in the front desk was very friendly, and they did everything possible to ensure we were taking comfortable. The rooms are nice and comfortable. There was an issue with the water nothing that was not fixable. The only issue with this hotel, is that if you need ice make sure you get it before 9:300 P.M. otherwise, you are not going to get any ice. Its very sad to drink warm drinks when Rio is so hot. Suggestion to the management department, an ice machine and the accessibility to it could help improve your services. Come on its Rio, everyone needs ice! Overall, this hotel is comfortable and one block away from the 9th point of Ipanema Beach. Traveling to Rio the main issue is safe, this hotel surroundings give that feeling of being safe while traveling. Thank you for such good services.

Great location, great price, comfortable.
Third time guest. I'm a local. Promedade Visconti is the best in terms of location, price and comfort. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast is great and the staff is super friendly. Will be going back soon.

I already stayed at this hotel before. Good rooms, clean, quite, excellent location 2 blocks far from the beach of Ipanema and also good place to rest after a hard working day. Restaurants, supermarkets, drugstore near.

Spent 5 nights in May 2016, Hotel is nicely situated a block from the beach, and walking distance to many restaurants, pharmacies, small shops, etc. Is not new, but is very clean, breakfast is fine, with fruits, cereals, ham eggs, cheese, bread, desserts.. Personnel was very nice and helpful with directions, recommendations, to help you in the breakfast area and to serve you drinks in the improvised bar in the afternoons. Only BUT is the bar around the corner, as it becomes loud late at night, I was in 6th floor and the noise level was high, but if you come to Rio you really do not go to bed that early... I was tired enough to be able to sleep even with some noise. They have a little gym, sauna, little pool, that looked clean enough to be used. Was glad and happy to choose this Hotel, I could go back there, but am thinking that next time I will try other one closer to Copacabana, for this one, you need to walk at least 20 minutes to reach Copacabana, which is not that bad.

In the heart of Ipanema just two blocks away from Post 9 on the beach. Staff were friendly and accommodating to my needs (printer, turning on steam room). Quiet place to head back after long days and nights in Rio. Note: they don't allow "guests".

Nice hotel. Great, friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable spacious suite tastefully furnished with interesting art work on walls. Walk in shower. Bed linen a bit small for the bed and strangely a lampshade still with it's clear plastic cover. Wifi a little patchy. Otherwise all great.

Great location, only one block from the beach. Near restaurants and shops. There's a subway station wuthin blocks. The apart-hotel is not big so the service is more personal. Breakfast is very good; there's fresh juice and fruits, deli meat, breads, cakes and eggs. Everything tastes good. The studio room was spacious; nice living room and little kitchen area (no stove, inly microwave, fridge and a sink). Bed was comfortable and bathroom as functional. There were two cons, though: 1) the noise from two pubs/bars on the cross street. There are patrons on both of them 7 days a week til late! When closing the windows, the noise is mostly gone. 2) I noticed that both lamp shades were spotted with mildew. Staff is attentive, polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here too. For the price, is a pretty good deal considering that you are one block away from Ipanema beach.

Everything was as expected. No supervises!
We would stay there again if we ever go back! The room is very clean. The most important thing is that you dont have much noise from the street. In Rio, buses, taxis and cars are running every corner of the street. If you want to sleep well at night, pick the room which windows are not facing the street.

Choose a different hotel in the area
The first room we were given was on a floor that was labeled non-smoking but was definitely a smoking one from the smell of it. We asked to be moved to another room which the front desk agent easily obliged. This second room was on the same floor, but smelled better (cleaner) so it was an improvement. However, the agent said she would have to charge us extra because there were no more rooms available at our rate. Keep in mind that both rooms were on the same exact floor, had the same layout, and same size bed. The agent said she would have to check with her manager about not charging us more and that she would call us back. An hour passed and no call came. It was late and we had been traveling for the entire day so we gave up and went to sleep. No updates ever came. Luckily when we checked out, no extra charges had been added to our bill. Oh and the wifi was down for our first day there. There are a lot of other hotel options in this neighborhood, might as well stay at one of those instead.

No Privacy or freedom in this hotel
You can not even have friends. The staff stairs at you when coming back to the hotel. Feels like they keep track of what you are doing - not a real feel of a vacation. Did not even let my friend come up to have a drink with me. Very stupid policy and the bed is not so comfy.

The hotel is centrally located and clean. Internet is barely working. You are not allowed to bring friendsfamilyguests to the room even not for an hour to have a drink. It feels like staying at your parents place - not in a good way as they look at anything you do.... I prefer my freedom and privacy !

Nice mid-range hotel in Ipanema
The hotel is small and could use some updates; however the room I had was of good size, clean and quite comfortable. Hotel staff very helpful, nice and efficient. Breakfast could be better, but was not bad at all in the end. Very good location, one block from Ipanema beach and close to restaurants and shops
