The best time to go to Rio Bravo, Orange Walk District, Belize, is during the dry season, which typically runs from late November to May.During these months, the weather is generally sunny with lower humidity and less rainfall, making it ideal for exploring the natural reserves and archaeological sites without the inconvenience of muddy trails or heavy downpours. The drier conditions also mean that wildlife spotting, particularly birds and mammals, is often easier as animals congregate around fewer water sources. For those interested in wildlife photography or extensive hiking, the period from February to April is particularly good. The trails are usually in excellent condition, and the cooler mornings make for comfortable excursions into the forest.
