Not worth it
I had booked a Standard Double Room via my Expedia booking. Looking at the hotel website, it appears as though I was put in an Economy room. The website also advertised "Floor Heating" in all rooms, though this was not the case.
I arrived late on Saturday and was looking forward to ordering room service, which was advertised as being 24 hours - however there were two menus, once ending at 10pm and one beginning at 11pm. As I could not get through to room service shortly after 10pm, I waited until 11pm only to be told that the kitchen was closed and was recommended that I go to McDonald's if I want food!
Disgruntled, I decided to go to sleep, but I left my room service breakfast order hanging on my door before i did so at 11pm. The menu clearly states to leave it out before 3am. I awoke the next day, the menu was still on the door. No breakfast for me. (I learned, the following night, that it is best to take your menu down to the bar before it shuts at night if you would like to have breakfast delivered to your room in the morning.)
I will admit, the spa was nice and the lady who was at spa reception was the only truly polite person who worked there (apart from the staff who were on main reception the morning I checked out). I found the hotel to be overpriced for what it was - even the mini-bar was overpriced and we were expected to pay for television. It was nothing spectacular and I feel genuinely cheated out of the amount that I paid.
