The hotel location is excellent, the breakfast is excellent. The staff are very kind and attentive. They allowed us to check in early. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Excellent
We had a very pleasant stay at Avalon. Location is very good, close to railway and bus station, tram stop just outside the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. And breakfast was excellent! Cheaper than in other hotels but very good quality and plenty of choice. I would definitely recommend, for affordable price really good quality.

Great hotel. Outlived expectations. Fabulous location, nice rooms, very pleasant helpful staff. Some noise from Atrium bar at night if busy, but not much of a concern. Overall a very good hotel. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

Good brekkie...staff excellent and 25 yards from bus stop to airport....10 min walk into town or other way to central market with the beer and food stalls

Great location as we were traveling by bus and the stop was 7 mins away. Market and all things to see in the town were walkable. Room was spacious and the complementary wine much appreciated. We would definitely come back to this hotel again. Thank you

Reception service is very slow. They cut staff so the poor girl is all alone at the reception. It’s not her fault but they need to put more staff at the reception so that the service is not slow. Bathroom is renovated but the room is out dated. It’s clean so that’s a good thing.

Nice hotel on the edge of the old town and a short distance to both the bus and train stations. Room was a good size and very comfortable. Bar food was good and staff very pleasant.

Great hotel in good location.
Although this is a large hotel all the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. There is very little shelf space in the bathroom and it was shower over bath so you have to climb into it. Can be an issue if you have mobility difficulties. There is a small but well laid out gym, with weight and cardio machines. I was the only person in there. Breakfast was a large selection and very nice. No toaster though. No toast for breakfast :-( Hotel is located on the edge of the old town and across the road from the central market. Very convenient to get around from. Bus to the airport stops outside as well. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is very close the main attractions of the old city. The rooms have a good size. The furniture is old, but for the type of hotel you find in Europe, I consider this a good hotel for what you pay.
