Cozy with great breakfast
The rooms and bath were old-fashioned but very clean, the proprietress was very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. Only downside were the guests in the room next to us which talked loudly until 4am… the guests in the other adjoining room were quiet, so maybe that was just bad luck.

There seems to be no better way to see Denmark's oldest city than by staying in one of its oldest inns! Jens is a great host and the breakfasts provided are suitable to keep you going for a whole day. We had rooms with shared bathrooms and that worked great during our three day stay. The rooms are charming -- we embraced the shorter ceilings, post and beams, and slanted floors when we made the reservations and were definitely not disappointed. There is a small shared sitting area upstairs if you want to gather. In terms of location, Hotel Postgaarden is central to exploring all of Ribe and while it is on one of the main streets in the center of town, it is not at all noisy. Most of the stores close up shop by 5pm and many of the local restaurants are down the street a bit. So very quiet in the evening.

We definitely enjoyed our stay here. The place has a very nice feel--very artsy, not like your usual hotel. Our room was very pretty, old-fashioned but a little quirky, with a big 4-poster bed and some lovely artwork. We'd definitely stay here again.

Enjoy Ribe and this accommodation.
A town you must put on your agenda for history and culture. Postgaarden B&B is in the centre, great location. Very welcoming. Good breakfast. Building was erected in 1552 and has low ceilings but is comfortable. Shared bathroom was not an issue. Clean and tidy. Value for money and rated very good by us.

Friendly hotel and staff. Nice town. If you drive, don't listen to the gps. The hotel is on a pedestrian street which means you cannot drive on it and you need to park in a public lot over night.

The biggest problem is parking on the road that the hotel is on is not possible buyer via phone. You have to park away from the hotel and like your luggage to the hotel. I got lost doing that and it was so frustrating. The room was adequate but no more. The breakfast the next morning was very good

Location was great, on the Main Street in Ribe. Owner was so helpful, his daughter walked us to train station when we were leaving to help us.

The host Jens made me feel welcome at once and was very helpful. The B&B is located right in the town centre and about 5-10 min from the train station. The room was just charming and the breakfast excellent. The bathroom was shared but as I was the only one staying at this part of the building I had it all for myself. I would definitely stay at Postgaarden again if back in Ribe.

Had a pleasant experience in this place. Jens and his daughters are very friendly. Jens found out that I was vegan and prepared a special brakefast for me. I could check in earlier and even store my luggage while strolling the town. I would def recomment this place.

A happy experience
Not luxe, but a very happy experience. Four-poster bed, interesting art, ancient building among ancient buildings. The staff were kind and helpful for both the b&b and cafe. Delicious food, beautifully presented. I enjoyed the ambience.

What a great opportunity to stay in such a place as this. Everything was wonderful, the house is just amazing. We were the only guest and did not have to share the bathroom, but with everything to offer, it would have been no problem. Thank you so much for the opportunity.

Dejlig beliggenhed, og super rart personale. Skøn morgen kaffe og godt med frisk brød og pålæg... Men værelset var ikke særligt lækkert og der var ingen sæbe, ingen bade måtte, en seng der var udtjent for 100 gæster siden, parkering lå på en offentlig p-plads 500 meter væk, selvom der stod at parkering var mulig.

fantastisk oplevelse - man kan sagtens leve med toilet og bad på gangen, når stedet oser af hygge og god service. eneste minus var, at cafeen lukkede kl 18, for vi havde gerne sluttet aftenen af med en øl fra det gode sortiment :-)

Det eneste jeg vil pege på er sengen, den var lige et nummer for smal, måske en 120 cm og det er lige mindst 20 cm for lidt. Personale og ejer er virkelig hyggelig og giver gerne gode tips til hvad og hvor man skal hen for at opleve det man kommer efter, og dejlige retter til frokost serverede de også.

Postgaarden kan klart anbefales
Havde en fantastisk dag i Ribe med udgangspunkt på Postgaarden, som ligger helt perfekt. Hyggelig gårdhave og en dejlig café med stort udvalg og god frokost samt en lækker morgenmad. Den personlige betjening var uovertruffen og alle var vildt hjælpsomme om det var servering på værelset eller hjælp til sightseeing. Det bliver dér igen, når vi kommer tilbage.
