"We had a great time staying at Lancaster House Hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable; there was plenty of space for us to spread our belongings around. The drinks table was a nice touch with delicious biscuits and plenty of water, which was topped up on our second day. The shower was excellent, and we really liked the toiletries. Breakfasts were very good, with a great selection of hot and cold food. My only quibble was that the ham for the eggs Benedict was from a ham roll rather than freshly cut off the bone. Other than that, everything was very good."

"Cleanliness excellent. Spa and pool excellent. Restaurant menu has changed and for me was disappointing. Lots of steak choices. No salads rice or pasta dishes which I expect were on the bar menu. Unfortunately the bar has a TV on 24/7 so not an ideal alternative to the restaurant unless you can eat outside. Overall a lovely stay. For me the restaurant was the only disappointment..but that's a personal view from someone who has stayed for the past 6 years"

"We had no wifi at all .no blind at well overlooked by people having coffee at open doors on raised level opp room 206 no privacy . Bath taps didnt work towels looked grey not white Heating didnt work when we arrived lift broken for years as other guests told us too .No tissues in bathroom very poor restaurant set in beautiful grounds but not a good experience sadly "

"5 Star luxury from start to finish. Beautiful location and parking was so easy. The property itself must of just had a refurbishment as the room was fantastic. Fellow guests were welcoming especially when chatting at the front of the building. Local people actually visit the front of the hotel and chat to guests. Didn’t make it to the pool however the bath in the room was the size of a swimming pool."
