Stayed July 23 can’t fault the staff or hotel but sadly both teenage boys caught food poisoning from eating chicken burgers at the a la Carrie restaurant half way through our holiday. They were so so ill they were admitted to hospital and put on drips The hospital confirmed it was food poisoning as they had blood and stool tests which cost us £3000 plus new flights as we couldn’t travel home. That money we got back from insurance but not the holiday cost or the pain the boys went through. I did tell Expedia but they weren’t interested. So I’m afraid I will not be booking with them again or staying at the Mitsis Faliraki ever again

Absolutely loved our stay at Mitsis Faliraki. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect as well as its right on the beach and a 2 minute walk to the main town.

Great place to spend a week in the height of summer! Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. During the wildfires around 500 people were evacuated to our hotel, and staff dealt with this amazingly well making sure that everyone were looked after. They ensures food and drinks were available to all and when evacuees left, the hotel was quickly back to its usual standard. Food was lovely and plentiful, plenty of alcohol available and overall this has been a wonderful holiday despite the current wildfire situation. Best wishes to all the affected and evacuees!

Hotel was spotless, staff lovely and very friendly. Only a few mins walk into shops, bars etc. Food was ok but definitely room for improvement. In the buffet restaurant sometimes the trays were empty, long queues. Al a carted, great choice but qualify of the food wasn’t great.

A definite gem in Rhodes
This is a well-run busy hotel, well worth of its 5-star rating. Staff are extremely polite, happy to see you and always helpful. The hotel areas are big enough and very clean inside and outside in the paved areas. I think the bars are open from the morning till late, 1.30 am. Food is primarily available all day and night. During the busy season, the hotel has a serious shortage problem of wooden sun loungers placed around the three pools. They also allow guests to reserve them from the early hours, so unless you get up at 6 am, you won't find one and you'll be forced to use the other inferior ones on the grass that is full of mosquitos or the ones on the beach. When mentioned, the management was quick to offer a solution. We were pleasantly surprised when each day snacks and wine on the ice were served in the room. The room bar is stocked up daily. The towels in the room could do with a makeover, they've seen better days. On one day, there's unnecessary noise from cleaning and grass-cutting machinery, work that could be done at night. The food is a mix of Greek and international cuisine, mostly good and available 24 hours a day. The restaurant runs efficiently and has plenty of nice fresh food. Panayiotis the outdoor restaurant waiter was extremely efficient, couldn't do enough for us, was ahead of his game all the time, provided top-class service and made a nice dining experience. Dimitris, the restaurant manager, open the fish and served it to us, a very kind gesture.

I had an amazing stay and experience at the Mitsis Failiraki Beach Hotel and Spa for the following reasons : 1. Being customer service! The staff is super welcoming,friendly,kind, and overall they will do any and everything to treat you like family and take care of you. Staying at this resort, we never had to worry about an unfriendly face or planning excursions that were out of budget. The front desk staff are an absolute delight. After almost 15 hours spent on a plane, it was so refreshing to see their smiling faces as we promptly and efficiently were checked in and taken to our room while the hotel porter transported our luggage to our rooms. Like I said every single staff member is so friendly it’s such a warm and welcoming environment! A special shout out to the Concierge Stergos! He’s so professional, accommodating, and friendly. He helped us plan reasonably priced excursions last minute as it was our first time in Rhodes, Greece.He goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is memorable and honestly we would come back to this resort just for the staff! Next outstanding mention is to Marietta, the shopkeeper in the hotel gift shop! She is genuinely such a kind and sweet person. She assists with finding anything you need. I remember the first day we arrived we realized we forgot sunscreen and we needed nasal spray. We were so worried we would have to go outside of the resort our first day to spend time searching for both these items but the hotel gift shop is basically a

Really lovely hotel, the staff we're very friendly and always helpful. Welcome towels and drinks were a great touch. I thought the rooms were lovely but very tired. Great amenities, free in room safe, air con, etc. The entertainment was ok but didn't blow me away. To make it even better I would like to see updated rooms, another option for lunch other than main restaurant or creperie (maybe pizza/gyros by the pool?) and more options for food at the main restaurant. Food was good quality though. Pool areas were lovely and great location/proximity to the beach. Loved our private pool room.

This hotel in Faliraki, Rhodes was fantastic! It is well laid out, with plenty of space to chill either by the beach or by the pool. The food and drinks available at this hotel were wonderful, and there were loads of options. The location of the hotel is well located within Faliraki which has a lot of shops and bars, with fairly easy transport links to Rhodes Town. We ended up with a room with a private pool, which was a nice surprise upgrade from the hotel. It was a comfy room and was spacious. I would say the one thing which made this hotel stand out to us was the staff, who went on to remember our names and went above & beyond to make sure our stay was great. Overall would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rhodes!

Misleading advertised photos. Rooms and views are NOT what’s being advertised. Very sad The hotel has no direct sea views as there’s is another building in front of it. The rooms are outdated and has a very small balcony with solid block walls. Nothing like the picture for the room we selected which stated partial sea view. There was noooo sea in the view 😖. We ended up leaving the hotel the same day and we went to the fabulous Sheraton on the other side of the island

Our favourite sunshine spot
Mitsis Faliraki Beach hotel is fabulous, our 7th year on the island and not only our favourite Mitsis hotel but our favourite on the island. Such fabulous staff, hotel manager Michalis runs the hotel with a smile and makes everyone feel special, love seeing George in the restaurant and around the hotel always with a smile on his face, no problem is too small for Stergos to solve and make fabulous, all of the cleaners are friendly and efficient, Wayne and Balu with their team run an excellent entertainment program for children and adults (normally something I would avoid but we’ve loved here). We’ve come twice to Faliraki Beach this year and if I could afford it then it would be three times. Hurry up 2020 as we can’t wait to come back!!!

nice location. nice performances in the evenings, the food in the dinning room was good. the beds are not comfortable enough and no double beds . rooms are quite small for a family . the rooms were not cleaned properly the floor had send after cleaning and dirty dishes were left once , the ice cream in the dinning room wasn't fresh and didn't have variety, the ac wasn't used in the elevator dinning room and the hallways so it was too warm. thew restaurant wasn't good enough

We were based on the main floor and in the morning-during the day- evening was so much noise, kids yelling at any hour. We wake up in yelling! The restaurants are booked always, in a 8 days stay we managed to book last 3 days only at 7:30pm but at last the food there was great.

Our holiday at Mitsis Hotel was excellent from the minute we checked in at reception. Room allocated was exactly as was requested, spacious and comfortable, the staff were all amazing and very courteous and friendly and made us feel most welcome with every request met without any question asked. Definately ticked all the boxes of a 5* hotel on the beach with great food from varied choice of restaurants. Entertainment within Mitsis hotel was well chosen by Animation team and varied each evening to suit to all age groups. The bars and shops all within walking distance and water sports available all added to the perfect holiday which I would recommend as a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Good location, right on the beach, friendly staff, variety of food but can be same everyday, needed a food theme night. Entertainment were singers everyday, need more than only singers. No free steam or sauna, no indoor swimming pool or gym, there is only a “park” style gym equipment onsite. Got accused by guest relations staff for writing a bad review after a day!! Told to remove it when I hadnt added one!

Beautiful hotel 2 min from beach.
Very nice hotel as always, 3rd time staying here, wonderful reception staff, big thanks to michalis the general manager, and tsabikos who helped us loads. Beautifully clean, rooms great! Superb view if you can get a sea view, wonderful complimentary toiletries, kettle in room , food amazing, pools great for adults and children, entertainment also brill.

Great hotel, suitable for children. The hotel is located right on the beach on the east side of the island, where the sea is quiet and suitable for swimming. The hotel is located right in the center of town. Highly recommend.

Fabulous hotel with all you'll ever need!
Fabulous hotel, have stayed at various 5 star resorts in Europe but his by far the best we have visited, staff are so attentive, polite and professional and treat you like you are the only person staying there. Both my wife and i have medical conditions and had a couple of issues which were quickly rectified by the manager and his staff, they went above and beyond during our stay which we really appreciated. The hotel is spotlessly clean and rooms are spacious with great air con which you'll need if going in the height of summer. The hotel has great facilities like 4 pools with ample umbrellas to shade yourself, the hotel sits right on the beach so you have the sea on your doorstep. There is a main restaurant which has enough variation for the most pickiest of palates and there are 4 a la carte restaurants which again serve up fantastic cuisine. There is a spa, gym and mini market on site and the animation team for both children and adult fun, always something to keep you occupied. There is public area wi-fi and i didn't find an issue with speed, if you would like wi-fi in your room this is an added cost, but i didn't feel the need to do this. Hotel is in a great location with no hills to climb and a very short stroll to shops,bars, pharmacies and taxi rank. We found the quality of service second to none with staff bringing around food and cooking food on barbecues at lunch time. To me this hotel is extremely well managed and run and we will be booking for next year!

Amazing resort, great rooms, great food, the staff are very nice and helpful! I would love to come back to this resort! The main thing that bothered me is the Wi-Fi which was very slow. Other than that - perfect vacation!

Great holiday !
Overall it was realy great,the staff the atmosphire and the food at the restaurants. The things we didn't like were first the fact we arrived at the hotel to check in and we got zero info about the hotel,the facilities,restaurants,nothing. We got the keys and thats it. Second the cleaning,overall it was clean at the first day but after the cleaning was not so good,we could feel it was not made properly. The pool beds are quite old and the food at the main restaurant was very dissapointing . The other restaurants were very good and the staff and service all over the hotel were super nice and carying,the bar was great and every request has been answerd! Recommended hotel with family feeling!we loved it

The hotel has great location - just a couple of minutes from Faliraki and 15 minutes from the airport. The beach is sandy in and out but you have to pay for the sun beds (EUR 10 for 2 sun beds and an umbrella). The hotel itself is a bit old - rooms small, towels well used, beds old and not comfortable, sun beds around the pool old and discoloured. But, food is nice, well cooked and tasty. Although, in Creperie during the day you have to queue for ages as the ladies are extremely slow (unlike the guy who makes crepes in the evening). They had an amazing frozen yogurt, walnut and honey ice-cream. Entertainment program is very professional and varied. Animation team is not persistent so you can take part but only if you wish. At first we got standard side sea view room that was tiny for two adults + a baby cot + a buggy - nowhere to move. But then after a complaint we were given a bigger room (101) that was big enough. So, if you are more than 2 people standard room can be too small. All sea view rooms are facing the "stage", so you won't have peace and quite till 11pm or so. Rent a car service at the hotel is a rip-off. We hired a car in Faliraki and it was half price. Not far from the hotel there is a small harbour and you can take a water taxi to Rhodes for EUR13 return. All in all a good holiday, so if you find a good deal, i will recommend.
