"It is located off the beaten path of north west corner of Iceland, surrended by the fjord on the one side and cliff mountain on another side. It the great place to experience wilderness and stay this comfortable guesthouse. The staff is super nice and cooking very good taste dinner (optional, you can cook yourself as well). "

"There are basically two hotels in this village. My room (shared bath) was very small with two twin beds: I had to place my suitcase on the other bed. The shower was in a separate room, but I would have preferred having a shower mat ... I wore my flipflops. The breakfast was good, typical fare (hard boiled eggs, cereal, bread/jam/ham/cheese) but no vegetables (tomato or cucumber). I appreciated the coffee/tea being available until midnight, and the outdoor patio off the breakfast area was enjoyable. Perfectly acceptable for a one-night stay."

"The resort is excellent and lo ates right on the ocean. Had a few issues getting in to our room since its off season, staff is not onsite, and we were to let ourselves into our room. Some other people staying in the same building as us also left the common areas messed up. A quick phone call resolved all our issues and the resort upgraded us to a larger room because of the mess. In the end glad we chose the place and would recommend it to others."
