"Overall there's a cool vibe about the place, but the real downside for me was that it was very noisy - we were on the street side and on 1st floor so that probably didn't help. The linen was collected at 12:50am on consecutive days which was very annoying. Breakfast was disappointing considering it was a Marco Pierre White establishment - turkey bacon and sausages definitely don't hit the same, baked beans were tasteless and poached eggs might have actually been peeled hard-boiled eggs. We ended up only having breakfast once in 4 days, wasn't worth getting up early for. There were no kettles in rooms, but tea and coffee is available on every floor from a communal area - however the coffee is not great quality (Cadbury hot chocolate was decent however) The communal areas were pretty basic but fine - the games room consists of a pool table and an arcade machine, both free to use. The library was a few tables and a random and unordered selection of books. The rooms were well-presented and clean, reception staff were helpful and cheerful and I liked the overall aesthetic of the hotel. Location was good, just around the corner from Whitechapel tube station. I would stay there again but maybe on a higher floor to avoid the worst of the noise."

"We arrived late. So obviously wanted to get checked in quickly. It was slow and the girl on reception was abrupt! We then went upstairs to get ready. My partner was using the hairdryer, which blew up, I immediately went downstairs to get a replacement. I was told housekeeping would bring one up later! I stressed the point it was needed asap. However, again I was told it was the job of housekeeping. So my partner could not dry her hair. Finally when we arrived back about 11.40 we were told the hairdryer had been replaced. The stay was disappointing. We travel a lot but will not return to this hotel!"

"Our room wasn’t ready at check in time. We had to wait an additional hour in order to check in. The restaraunt located at the hotel was not good. The best thing about this location is it is close to alot of options for food as well as easy access to the tube."

"The room itself was nice and comfortable, with good amenities and a pleasant overall setup. However, cleanliness was a major issue during my stay. There was dust visible in multiple areas, which made the room feel poorly maintained and not properly cleaned before arrival. On a positive note, the staff were polite and friendly when approached. Unfortunately, despite informing them about the cleanliness concerns, no action was taken to resolve the issue, which was disappointing. Overall, while the room had potential, the lack of proper cleaning and follow-up from staff significantly affected the experience."

"Hotel itself is great and the staff were really friendly on check in. Room are small but comfy and very clean. The breakfast buffet was great too. Only downside is that the bar/restaurant in the hotel was really bad for drinks. They were super slow, forgot our orders and still put on a crazy service charge. Other than that it’s fab! "
