Due covid, the hotel was empty. Breakfast served in your table. Very complete and tasty. Room for family with kids no too big but enough for one night. Recommended!!
This property was nicer than I expected for a Holiday Inn Express. We stayed there for 1 night because it was close to the airport. The room was quite small (we had 3 adults) and we were not able to find an outlet in the bathroom. For those reasons, one night was enough; however, the staff was fantastic. They went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed. They were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Overall apart from initial check in staff the rest of our stay was blighted with obnoxious and rude staff the room was uncomfortable as sofa bed very cheap so incredibly uncomfortable for my son.
I would under no circumstances recommend this hotel on very bad levels of customer service not what I expect of a IHG Group hotel
Decent place, but there is no airport shuttle, they work with local taxi services to limit the cost to 10 Euros - I wouldn't consider that a shuttle, would you?
Nothing unique but definitely a comfortable hotel to stay.
They don’t have a shuttle so you have to take a cab-$15 to get to the hotel even if it should be an airport hotel.
Great stay near Stuttgart airport. Arrived Sunday night to discover I had inadvertently book a twin room not a double. Gentleman on duty could not have been more helpful and swapped us to a double room. Rooms have got everything you need (tea, coffee, english channels on the big tv). All the rooms are missing is a safe.
The bed was very hard, expired snacks in the vending machine, water and ice were not available at all, hotel staff tried on multiple times to enter our room unannounced despite the fact that we placed the do not disturb on the door.
My room had been smoked in and nothing I did helped with the extreme smell of stale smoke. Opening the window was not possible because of the noise from the nearby highway and it did not help with the smell either. Hotel was full and they said they could not move me.
Maybe it’s a common European behavior, but there were two parties of people drinking and smoking in the portico area with cases of beer as if they were ha in a tailgating party in the parking lot.
For the cost of this hotel I did not expect this problem with smoky room.
This hotel has all I needed, including breakfast, which is good not enough but not super impressive. It is not located in the city center or anywhere near it. We needed a place to stay on our drive back to Berlin from Lucerne, Switzerland. Room is clean, but not quite spacious given 3 people stayed in the room.
Super traffic jam... be warn.
But it is good value... newer hotel. Smaller sized room. Good service. Good breakfast.
Its a car town... one out of two is brand new Porsche and Mercedes =)
Its Stuttgart after all.
Pros:
+ 8 mins drive from the airport
+ Clean and modem looking.
+ Staffs are nice and friendly
+ Breakfast is delicious
+ Good price ~ $100
+ 10 mins walk to the train/bus station
+ Right next to a big grocery store
+ 25 mins walk to a church. (9:30am mass)
Cons: none
We booked this hotel for it's convenience to the airport, the rooms were spacious, clean and the staff were friendly and offered us lots of help. Would definitely stay here again if we needed an airport hotel.
No shuttle on arrival or departure as promise. Arranged for the shuttle from front desk staff the night before departure (7:30am) early flight. In the morning no shuttle available. Had to take a taxi instead (at additional cost). Morning front desk staff very disinterested/unhelpful and borderline rude. Not a pleasant start to my day. Very disappointing service. The room/hotel/breakfast were all quite nice though. Would recommend to others, just be prepared to use a taxi and not their phantom shuttle service.
