VaSan Suite - Modern design with jacuzzi in the yard - In the heart of old town

VaSan is a two-storey 70 m2 Suite, which can accommodate 4 guests in beds and up to 6 in total. On the ground floor, as you enter, you will find a siting area consisted of a comfortable sofa , which can be used as a bed and accommodate 2 guests, and a 32’’ HDTV with Netflix support. Moving in you will see the fully equipped kitchen with a dining table, which opens up to a beautiful inner courtyard. The outdoor area is equipped a jacuzzi, an additional table for six and a hammock, as well as an outdoor shower, which you can use when returning from the beach. Also, a WC is available on the ground floor.

From the living room, wooden stairs take you to the upper floor where the two double bedrooms are located. Both bedrooms are air conditioned, offer a 32’’ HDTV and have balcony access, while one of the balconies is equipped with patio furniture. Additionally, a second bathroom with a shower cabin can be found on this level. Furthermore, the stairs continue upwards and lead you to the roof terrace where you can find sitting area with nice flowers and enjoy the sunset.

Vasilis Rundum-Carepaket
Schon im Vorfeld hat der Vermieter Vasilis sich sehr um uns gekümmert. Er war sehr interessiert welche Art Urlaub wir machen wollten und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Sogar kostenlose Parkplätze, die nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt sind hat er uns rausgesucht. Das hat uns sehr beeindruckt. Das Apartment war großartig. Sehr modern und hochwertig eingerichtet und entsprach absolut den Fotos. Es liegt mitten in der Altstadt Rethymnos, Restaurants und Tavernen sind überall zu finden und auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, sowie öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind fußläufig innerhalb weniger Minuten zu erreichen. Der Stadtstrand ist etwa 10 Minuten entfernt und die ersten organisierten Sandstrände mit Schirmen und Vollverpflegung wenn gewünscht sind hinter dem Hafen zu finden. Die Kosten für zwei Liegen mit Schirm starten bei 9 €, hier wird man weitgehend in Ruhe gelassen. An Stränden, an denen man nur zahlen muss was man verzehrt, kümmert man sich entsprechend mehr und oft mit Nachdruck um die Gelüste der Gäste. Wer wandern möchte sollte ein Auto mieten, auch das ist über Vasilis problemlos und kurzfristig zu realisieren. Hier und bei einigen Attraktionen in der Region bekommt man dann sogar den Rabatt des Gastgebers. Rethymno ist wirklich schön. Mediterraner Flair, freundliche Menschen und richtig gutes Essen. Aufdringliche Verkäufer wie in Athen oder Heraklion findet man hier eher selten. Bestes Eis: Gegenüber vom Hafen im Chocolat. Vielen Dank, Vasilis. Wir kommen wieder.

Wonderful house in a wonderful country
The VaSan suite was a delightful place to spend our week of holidays in Crete. The location is perfect in Rethymnon, in a very nice and quiet street of the old town, a few minutes walk from the sea, the venitian harbour, restaurants and markets. There's even a free parking close to the house. The house itself is so convenient and clean : the two little rooms are very well equipped, the roof terrace is very nice with a beautiful view, the "garden" in front of the house is a perfect place to have dinner, with barbecue and even a hammock. Vasileios is a perfect host as well : lots of little presents to welcome us, and very quick to answer in case of need. VaSan suite is clearly a "must-live" in Rethymnon !
