Seen from the outside it it was wellmaintained.It was clean.The staff friendly. The sea nearby. Breakfast ok. But our room had a somewhat hard matress and we could hear the neighbours aircon on/off the whole night. We did not use the kitchen at all and i am sure that everything was working perfectly but a bit shabby.

Very nice place, tasty breakfasts, but could be a bit more various (no fresh fruits which is strange). Overall I like this hotel very much.Superior rooms have sufficient space, daily room service. Very good place for families. Hotel has 3 pools: two outside (one 20 metres from the beach) and one covered. Strongly recommend,

Excellent Hotel with direct access to beach
Excellent Hotel with direct access to beach. Very clean. There is a swimming pool and kids play area. Breakfast is very good as well. You can have buffet dinner at Hotel. Hotel gave us free room update as well.

Good in the main, but some areas need work.
Room was clean and reasonably equipped and close to the beach. Probably needed an upgrade. Staff helpful in the main, but air con unit was very old and very slow to do anything! Bathrooms good, with a multi function shower and plenty of hot water. The main street is a little drab and dated, but there was one bar and restaurant above the local supermarket (UPANO) that was excellent and al a carte food was well presented and good value. However, all shop and bar owners very good and happy and willing to talk to you. It is much windier up this end of the island and the surf can be quite rough at times. However, with the temperatures, it is a blessing. The South of the island is a lot less crowded and there are multiple wonderful beaches down there.

A little outdated hotel in a nice location

Relaxing, Peaceful Holiday
This is a family run hotel where you can relax with the kids or chill out with your partner. We are a family of 5 (kids 17,10,6) and were put in the newly renovated accommodation which was by far the best self catering we've had in the Mediterranean. The property was modern with washing machine, microwave and decent cooker. The beds and pillows were fantastic giving a good nights sleep. Breakfast to suit everyone. Nice location at the end of the road which made it quiet and only two mins walk to beach. Hired a car which was beneficial to travel to Waterpark (Watercity) about 75km away but worth it and to beaches in the south of the island (Preveli beach) but beware it is a tough trek down the rocky path and back up which takes about 15 mins. Rethymnon worth a few visits with lovely streets, shops and bars, 8 Euro in a Taxi or get the bus for Euro 1.20 each. Thoroughly enjoyable holiday and would return.

Bra familjehotell
Om man inte vill bo i en stad, men ändå med mycket restauranger och "turistshopping" i närheten, och samtidigt nära till stranden, då är Trefon superbt! Rent och fint, bra lägenhet (2 rum) familjekänsla, bra område. Kanske väl litet pentry, men funkis ändå. Vi (familj med tre barn mellan 9-16) var helnöjda.

8 счастливых дней в Trefon hotel/
Изначально при поездке на Крит бронировал этот отель на семь ночей исключительно для ночлежек и завтрака как место старта для экскурсий на автомобиле (вторая половина отель по системе все включено для пляжной части отпуска). Так получилось, что за три месяца до поездки у жены случился сложный перелом голени и по факту в самолет мы входили первый раз без костылей на силе воле палочки и моем плече. Заранее написал в отель просьбу о заселении на первый этаж. По приезду нас заселили в номер классом выше того который я оплачивал. Далее мы переехали в студию удобную по расположению и тоже очень приличную. Немного об отеле. ДО песчаного пляжа 150 м. До Супермаркеты 200 м (автобусная остановка там же + большое количество таверн).Именно эти двести метров отделяют отель от проезжей части. Поэтому не слышно шума транспортных средств. Бесплатная парковка для автомобиля прямо под окнами, места всегда есть. Завтраки очень в формате шведский стол, очень достойные. В номерах полноценные кухни с набором посуды, плитой, чайником, микроволновой печкой. Бесплатный WIFI на всей территории. Очень достойный отель. Каждое утро вы будете встречены улыбкой и приветственным словом хозяйки. Да, как я ранее написал, вторая половина отпуска прошла в большом и дорогом отеле...не было в нем той домашней обстановка как в Trefon.

Supert hotell!
Vi har vært på et hotel der du virkelig føler deg velkommen og hjemme. De har en fantastisk frokostbuffet, med god service. Rommene er rene og godt utstyrt. Om det er noe du trenger er det bare å si i fra. Beliggenheten er fabelaktig. 100 meter fra stranden og det samme til supermarked. Første restauranten er rett over veien. Hotellet ligger i en blindvei så det er meget familievennlig område. Samtidig er det kort vei til masse shopping, eller buss til Rethymno sentrum. Det er ca 6 km til sentrum, så for de spreke er det en fin spasertur eller sykkeltur. Hotellet anbefales for alle som ønsker seg en ferie med flotte omgivelser, god atmosfære og vennlige mennesker.

L'établissement et plutôt ancien et l'insonorité n'est pas bonne. Nous n'avons pas eu de chance de tomber à cote d'Allemand qui faisait beaucoup de bruit. Mauvais insonorisation. Nous entendons tout ce qui se passe autour de nous. C'est dommage car pour la tranquillité ce n'était pas cela du tout. Pas de chance d'avoir des voisins qui ne savent pas se tenir et que l'établissement soit vieux car cela n'aide pas.

familiär und entspannt, Strand ist sehr nah. Die Straße ist ruhig und es wachsen tolle Blumen, der Pool ist warm und sauber. Die Liegemöglichkeiten am Pool kostenlos am Strand günstig. Poolbar hat gutes und frisches Essen, Personal sehr freundlich.

Äußerst praktisch eingerichtete Appartements
In der Strandnähe, Einstieg ins Wasser ist leider nicht sehr sanft (Kies-Sand gemischt). Das Personal ist sehr kundenorientiert. Appartements sehr neu, Anlage ruhig und dabei gar nicht weit weg von einer typischen Kurorts- / Einkaufsstraße.

Un séjour agréable en septembre
Platanias est situé à 4 km de Rethymnon, bonne situation géographique pour découvrir les environs, station balnéaire agréable en septembre mais qui doit être très bondée en pleine saison. Trefon hotel est une petite pension familiale très agréable, nous étions dans les appartements rénovés, très agréables. à 1min de la mer à pieds - transats côté piscine gratuits - 5€ pour le set parasol et 2 transats sur la plage. Petit-déjeuner ok. Personnel très sympathique, arrangeant, serviable. Nous recommandons !

Hotel confortevole e familiare per una vacanza di relax, a pochi metri dalla spiaggia, con mare spesso mosso, e a due passi dal centro del paese con ristoranti e negozi. Colazione a buffet dolce e salato, molto fornita e di buona qualità. Pulizie giornaliere delle camere con cambio biancheria a giorni alterni. Unica nota negativa lavaggio non professionale della biancheria, macchia di pennarello nel lenzuolo, federe cuscino ingiallite, asciugamani con macchie qua e la e ingialliti... Personale cordiale e disponibile.

Leuk en net appartement 100 mtr va het strand.
We kregen zonder bijbetaling een net gerenoveerd appartement aangeboden; deze was groter dan geboekt, en zelfs voorzien van vaatwasser en wasmachine. Ruime kamers, netjes en schoon. Iedere dag werd er schoongemaakt, handdoeken vervangen en bedden opgemaakt. Dagelijks een uitstekend ontbijt buffet. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel en eigenaar. Enige minpunten zijn de bedden en het nachtelijke bezoek van de vuilniswagen die s'nachts!! de containers komt legen. Prima uitvalbasis voor bezoekjes o.a. aan de prachtige stadjes Rethymnon en Chania en de vele bergkloven. Huurauto is zeker aan te raden.

Koselig, lite hotell som ligger i et rolig område
Leilighet over 2 etasjer med 2 soverom, 2 bad og 2 altaner. Veldig greit når man reiser med større unger. Badene var nyoppussede og veldig fine, men små og ingen hyller. Madrassene i sengene var harde. Kjøkkenet var meget spartansk og er dels plassert under trappa, men går greit å lage enkel mat. Var et lite bord med 4 trestoler, ganske trangt. Var ikke plass til 4 ute på noen av altanene, men det var border ute ved bassenget man evt kunne bruke. Det ble tømt søppel, redd opp senger og skiftet håndklær hver dag, men vasking/tørking av sand fra gulv og rengjøring av vask/dusj så ikke ut for å bli gjort. Bassenget som ligger i hotellet er lite. Det ligger et større basseng ved stranda (1 min å gå) som man kan bruke. Her er det plen og solsenger rundt. For tiden pågår det byggearbeider på nabotomten som var ganske forstyrrende. Bør ikke ta så alt for lang tid før det utvendige arbeidet er ferdig... Leiligheten hadde gratis Wi-Fi, men med redusert kapasitet. Kunne kjøpe oppgradering. Frokosten bestod av brød/rundstykker, korn, egg, bacon, greske spesialiteter, div pålegg, frukt og småkaker. Variert utvalg. Vi møtte bare smilende mennesker som jobbet ved hotellet. Lokalt sentrum ligger 2 minutter unna. Stranda er fin men har en "kant" med grovere singel som man må gjennom og det blir fort dypt. (Stranda i selve Rethymnon er langgrunn). Flere gode restauranter i nabolaget. Stille og rolig område.

Красиво, чисто и уютно. Понравилось прекрасное отношение персонала, расположение непосредственно рядом с пляжем. Шведский стол на завтрак и ужин - сытно и вкусно. Минусы найти чрезвычайно сложно.

Familievennlig, rolig strøk og nær strand
Meget vennlig og serviceinnstilt betjening. Meget god og allsidig frokost. Leilighetskomplekset består av en gammel og ny avdeling. Det er en del byggevirksomhet på stedet da de utvider leilighetskomplekset. Var noe sjenerende, men vi var jo på stranda hele dagen så det gikk greit. Vi hadde en fin ny leilighet med soverom i 2 etg. Ulempen med det var at klimaanlegget måtte stå på maks for å få bra temperatur oppe. Da var det for kalt for den som sov nede. En mellomting ble løsningen. Enkle greie møbler. Fint flislagt bad. Totalinntrykk veldig bra.
