Admire the Venetian port and lighthouse Along Nearchou Road, you’ll get to the picturesque Venetian harbour with its restored lighthouse, built between 1830-40\. And behind the port is the 16th-century Venetian Loggia. Explore the beach that goes on and on The largest beach on Crete (12km) stretches along the east side of the city, from Rethymno to Skaleta. You’ll take advantage of the water sports in the Adelianos Kampos and enjoy a quiet swim in the rocky coves of the Pegianos Kampos. Logement à la propreté irréprochable (le ménage est effectué tous les 3 jours et les draps et serviettes de bain sont changés à ce moment là), petit déjeuner avec spécialités locales proposé tous les matins, conseils précieux dispensés par Manolis et sa mère pour nous orienter au mieux avant les visites ou les meilleurs restos du coin. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison, ils ont été aux petits soins afin que le séjour se passe le mieux possible. The apartment was very clean and maintained on a regular basis. The pool was a great temperature and we could swim whenever we wanted. The rooftop was our place to sit at night and had lovely views. Manolis and Filitsa were amazing hosts and went above and beyond what what we expected. Hübscher, kleiner griechischer Ort. Auto ist von Vorteil. Calergi Residence ist gegenüber der Kirche, wo ab und zu natürlich früh morgens oder am Abend mal Glockengeläut zu hören ist. Apartment: hübsch und freundlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Alle 3-4 Tage wird die Wohnung gereinigt, es gibt frische Handtücher etc. Kleine Küche war mit den notwendigsten Sachen ausgestattet und könnte irgendwann mal mit Kleinigkeiten wie Toaster, Sieb, Eierbechern, Küchenmesser ergänzt werden. Es geht aber alles auch ohne diese Dinge! Bad war zwar klein, aber modern eingerichtet. Kleiner Balkon zum Innenhof mit Tisch und 2 Stühlen. Innenhof ist hübsch angelegt und dort ist auch ein kleiner Pool zur Abkühlung. Auf der gemeinschaftlichen Dachterrasse gibt es Liegen, eine schattige Sitzecke und einen Grill. Und eine schöne Aussicht... Besonders hervorzuheben sind die beiden Gastgeber Filitsa und Manolis, die wirklich alles tun, damit die Gäste sich wohlfühlen. Morgens kann jeder zu einem kleinen (und noch dazu kostenlosen!) Frühstück in den Innenhof kommen und sich mit den beiden unterhalten, Probleme besprechen oder Tips für die Gestaltung des Tages abholen. Diese selbstgemachten kleinen Köstlichkeiten waren sehr lecker! Vielen lieben Dank für diese tolle Art von Gastfreundschaft! Etwas genervt haben uns abends die jugendlichen Anwohner, die ihren Treffpunkt an der Kirche hatten und ständig mit ihren sehr lauten Motorrollern an- und abgefahren sind. Teilweise konnte man seinen Gesprächspartner im angrenzenden Café nicht mehr verstehen. Schade, aber auch der einzige negative Punkt.
