The hotel was great and loved the location near the ski jumps and soccer fields. It very much captured the Olympic vibe. Close to walking trails and to walk to town. The included breakfast was very good. It had a very nice lounge so you could relax outside your room. The shower, as in most of Norway, was small and leaked a bit.

Great facade but room in terrible condition
Beautiful view and great are for hiking. Free parking and good breakfast! The room smelled of smoke and the bathroom of mold. Common area in great shape. Reconditioning long overdue for the room.

During our stay, we loved the property and Lillehammer so much that we extended and stayed two days rather than one. Your front desk staff was special - both Metta and Patricia went above and beyond to help us get transportation, give advice on restaurants, and make sure we had everything we needed. They were friendly and accommodating. We also loved the location as being right in the heart of the Olympic village.

Very clean and modern , friendly staff. A very sporty feel to this hotel which sits right beneath the Olympic ski jump.

Single room is very small. Olympic village is nice but not much to do. Nice walk to museum area. Must walk uphill from town center to get here which I did not expect.

affordable and easy to find
Cheap and OK place to sleep over when driving to Aalesund. Good breakfast and easy to find. Got a quiet apt.with a nice comfy bed.

This place just below the Lillehammer ski jump (memorialized in the Netflix series as the place where Steve Van Zant .... no, I won’t tell you. I hate spoilers), was great. Clean, simple Nordic style, comfortable, friendly and the best breakfast with the broadest assortment we’ve had on this Scandinavian road trip yet.

Olympic Village.
This was Olympic village in 1994. Just the fact you can stay here is worth it. Excellent breakfast provided.

Very peaceful place and close to nature.
Staff was very helpful. Food was absolutely plentiful and lots of variety. Kids friendly with Playground. Supermarket close. Water-falls next to Hotel. Lovely scenery and nature walks. Plenty of room to socialize with friends.

Good location 10 mins walk from downtown
Good location in a beautiful setting in the hills overlooking Lillehammer, yet within 10 mins walk to downtown. There's even a nice little swimming hole next to the hotel (the water is cold!). We were upgraded to a bigger deluxe room, which had plenty space for three people. It was clean and looked recently renovated, with comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

This is an older hotel which has had some refurbishment. The rooms are enormous by today's standards (including the bathroom). The breakfast was excellent. Because we were there when days were very long curtains or blinds with greater blockout properties would have been appreciated.

Great location
Our room was renovated with a modern feel although the apartments and restaurant have obviously been there for a while. They were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was basic and the service was adequate. It feels a little like a hostel but rooms are self contained. Wifi worked well and a kettle was provided. It is on the road leading up to the ski jump and main Olympic arena and you could walk to the Olympic museum.

Good clean family hotel
We travelled from the UK for a ski trip with two children aged 11 and 9. Stayed in a family room with two single beds and a small double sofa bed. First good points; Room was spacious and well-appointed with two TVs, kettle and fridge; room was very warm - good when outside temp was -12C!; breakfast good with decent choice, although no hot food other than toast; shower was great - powerful and plenty of hot water; communal areas clean and quite trendy; staff friendly and helpful. Bad points; Location is out of town - no restaurant or bar in evening, so had to drive into town centre - about 2km away; the hotel is also some distance away from ski resort of Hafjell, so a car is a necessity; housekeeping was sporadic - had to make our own beds and empty bins on a couple of days; MOST IMPORTANTLY sofa bed was very uncomfortable - even the kids didn't want to sleep in it! We had to draw straws to see who would have the sleepless night, but in fairness we didn't complain, so the friendly staff might have been able to rectify this issue had they been informed. In summary, a good hotel and I would stay there again.

Nyoppusset rom og bad med kvalitetsprodukter. Rommene er noe lytt pga connected room, men Ikke veldig problematisk. God frokost og hyggelig betjening. Har hatt flere overnattinger dette året, og planlagt flere opphold neste år.
