Needed an overnight stop en route from our place in Provence back to the UK. Very convenient but typical Novotel... functional and contemporary. Fine to arrive in the evening, drink a beer and have dinner. Not an attractive area, but just what we needed for a journey break and very straight forward parking.
One night stay as a stop over on travel back from South of France. Finding the hotel wasn't immediatley clear but the colour of the building gave it away. Check in was protracted due to queue. Forgot my passport and had to go back to queue and start again, overall making this a painstaking experience. Once checked in however, pleased to find the room was clean, well equipped, with an excellent bathroom for the price. Shutters over exterior windows made the room cool and very dark which helped massively with a young baby. Two stage of bedside lights made it easy to read whilst the baby was sleeping. The in hotel wifi was very cheap and a reliable connection which was a pleasant surprise. My only real criticism is that the hot water was in too heavy demand in the morning as the shower over time ended up running cold. Otherwise this was a very high quality hotel for a reasonable price so an ideal stop over.
Good location for City Centre. Bedrooms were very hot, and it was very difficult to sleep. Asked hotel receptionist, but we were told the air conditioning had been turned off, and could not be turned on. Would not stay here again if the weather was warm.
We and two friends spent 3 nights at this Novotel hotel. It proved to be the best value for money of the four hotels we stayed at in France. It is quite new, very well maintained and clean. The room was very large, and the bed comfortable. If there was any downside to the room it was the somewhat limited space to put or hang clothes. But this is by North American and not French standards. Another possible downside for some guests is that the shower stall is quite small. Breakfast was included in the room price, and it was excellent. Lots of choice, including eggs, and very good coffee. The breakfast room is large and cheerful. What really made our stay special was the front desk staff and in particular a young lady by the name of Hafida. She went out of her way to be helpful, including arranging a wine tour at a small family operation - even though it was harvest time. Even better, when we found that our rental car had a terrible odour (spilled milk left to spoil - or worse?) she called on housekeeping. They sprayed our car with an odour masking liquid used by the hotel. On departure, Hafida provided a small amount for us to take with us as we needed to make repeated applications. All and all, a great stay. And special thanks to you Hafida.
Just a ten minute walk to the city centre where there are bustling restaurants and cafeterias. The Notre Dam cathedral is just two streets away and is a great spectacle, especially at night when it is illuminated until midnight.
This is an extremely well appointed Appart Hotel, located about 5 minutes walk to Reims Cathedral.
It's worth noting that, while development on other buildings in the area is taking place, the reception is not on Rue Ponsardin, but can be accessed via Boulevard de la Paix.
Also, there is parking on Boulevard de la Paix but not on Rue Ponsardin.
The hotel is older, but it's cute and the room and the staff were friendly/helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a huge bathroom and king size bed in a room on the side of the hotel. It was loud outside at night, due to local resturants, but was very quite when we closed our window. I would definitely stay there again. It's in the center of town and only a few minute walk from the train station. 40 minute train ride from Pairs.

Budget hotel housed within grand red-roofed townhouse located on leafy pedestrian square in central Reims. Guestrooms are …More
Reims is the main city of the renowned Champagne area and is a central spot for those wanting to learn more about fine wine. There's more to Reims than tasty bubbles however, as the gothic architecture, lively street bars, and hidden culinary treasures will demonstrate. The magnificent 13th century cathedral, Notre-Dame de Reims, overlooks this charming city.
