We stayed here on our way back after a weeks skiing, great location, just off the motorway. Only downside is there's no where to have an evening meal, we just cooked up some pasta which was actually easier as kids were knackered and could just go straight to bed. Breakfast is provided and good.
*clean spacious room
*nice little kitchen area
*room temperature easily adjustable and comfortable
*very friendly staff
*excellent breakfast & fantastic espresso
*little lawn out back, great for taking dog out
*no housekeeping during 4 day stay. This was actually a good thing for me as I prefer staff not in my room with my things or my dog when I stay at hotels. But others may not like this part.
*shower and bathroom good size
*very nice towel warmer in bathroom
*pretty garden/courtyard area
*shared community with very friendly and polite college students and other hotel guests
*no help getting luggage inside...and I had A LOT of luggage (6 month trip)
*no luggage cart available, no assistance with my bags even when I asked
*parking is difficult, but possible
*muddy parking lot during construction, shoes, bags and car muddy
*have to take your own trash out into the parking lot dumpsters (quite a walk from front door)
*just one teeny-tiny bar of soap per room.
*no shelf in shower to put soap or shampoo but on the floor, which is difficult to access and dissolves the tiny bar of soap they provide in the shower water.
Would I stay here again? Yes. I would recommend it. For me, the pro's outweigh the con's. Very friendly staff and good management, as well. Makes a big difference. Several staff members speak very good English.
We needed to take a cab from the station as we had luggage and it was too far to walk. The previous guests in our first room were smokers. We were given another the next day which was charming. The main champahne cellars also needed a cab or bus to reach. A good supermarket was a short walk around the corner and a good source for in-room picnics. Likewise a patisserie and boulangerievin nearby.
The hotel is older, but it's cute and the room and the staff were friendly/helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a huge bathroom and king size bed in a room on the side of the hotel. It was loud outside at night, due to local resturants, but was very quite when we closed our window. I would definitely stay there again. It's in the center of town and only a few minute walk from the train station. 40 minute train ride from Pairs.

Reims is the main city of the renowned Champagne area and is a central spot for those wanting to learn more about fine wine. There's more to Reims than tasty bubbles however, as the gothic architecture, lively street bars, and hidden culinary treasures will demonstrate. The magnificent 13th century cathedral, Notre-Dame de Reims, overlooks this charming city.
