One up from camping. Bed hard as rock. Pillows flat as a pancake. No sleep. Bad back. No facilities, no bar, no snacks, no food bathroom very good, clean, large shower. Wont stay here again.

I am a bit surprised at a couple of your comments.We are aware that some clients prefer more ample pillows which is why we provide a minimum of 4 per room with more available on request. We also have a bar, with the menu available at the reception in full view. We don't offer food at this point, an element that is clearly indicated on our website. However,we do work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of.Sincerely,

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location excellent. Free car park wS a bonus. The Hotel room was quite basic, no possibility to ventilate safely at night as opening was a door on ground floor. The downstairs rooms looked quite tired.

Great staff. Nothing was a problem we asked for a kettle and extra pillows and we got them. Breakfast was good. This is the best place to stay for champagne tasting. Short walk to 2 big champagne houses and then turn the other way and walk all the way down Avenue des Champagne with many tasting and beautiful buildings.

This is a bare bones accommodation but the location is amazing. The staff was very nice and helpful. A little TLC would go a long way to making this a more desirable destination in the amazing town of Epernay.

Very friendly staff - suited us perfectly.
It does what it needs to do. The location is brilliant. The staff were fab, it was a bit noisy within the hotel as the walls seemed thin.

Nice place to visit Epernay
Small room but very clean. Nice for 2 days stay. Close to champagne houses. Mercier just around the corner. Breakfast simpel but enough. Service correct and friendly

Excellent location near prestigious avenue de Champagne. Very friendly and helpful staff and management. Free safe parking. I didnt see a lift and there is no air conditioning in rooms which is a pity by hot weather.

Very helpful new owners.
Great service by the new owners. Very helpful and full of great ideas to improve our stay. Location worked very well for us. Breakfast was good and room was comfortable but needing a modest refurbishment which the new owners are starting soon.

Hotel in Epernay France
Lovely welcome by the new owner whos only been there for 6 weeks . The out side look lovely with free parking whixh was a bonus . We went to our rooms and they were basic to say the least . The place needs a re furb no window in the room , a doir onto the carpark but didnt feel safe to leave it open overnight . Bedrooms need a window that can be ooened as was far too hot . If the owners want to make a go of this they definitely need to give the rooms a re Furb other wise they wont have any returners .

The whole hotel including the room reeked on cigarette smoke. We had to open the window to the room to get some fresh air only to find a bucket of discarded cigarette butts outside the room

Clean and simple ,small room but big enough for 2 people for 1 night ,pleasant staff, breakfast enough to travel on. Free parking and very easy access to the Avenue of Champagne makes it a good reasonably priced choice

Very Good Location, and that's about it!
Prior arrival I got an email from the hotel all in French (had to use google translate) basically saying the reception won't be open for check-in until 5pm due to COVID-19?(because the staff needs extra time to clean?) We arrived at about 12, so left our car in the hotel car park, the hotel doors are all closed so we can't even use the facilities after a long drive. Thanks to its great location, walked to the Avenue de Champagne for our champagne tour/tasting, and used the luxurious and clean facilities in the fancy champagne houses. We came back at 4:45pm, obviously hotel still not opened yet, and saw some people sitting in their car waiting. We got our ground floor tiny room eventually. No air conditionin, so we had to leave the door (direct access to the garden/carpark/street) open overnight to let the room cool down, and turn all the lights off so the moths and insects don't come in. Glad we're don't have any valuables items and we're not attractive so we don't have to worry too much about our safety. Next morning, finally got some natural light in the room. So I found some pubic hair on the bathroom door frame, guess they used the same cloth to clean the toilet first and then the door? (hope they didn't clean the bedside table with the same cloth too?) Oh and more fluff underneath the desk. So why did we have the late check-in again? But its only 1 minute walk to Avenue de Champagne, so you can get pretty drunk and still have a good night sleep! LOCATION!!

Good location, just out of town centre in a quieter area. Staff friendly and helpful, and rooms clean and tidy , if a little cramped. Worth a visit to the bar on arrival, as a glass of good local (small Independent vineyard) champagne very reasonably priced. The walk into town for dinner also passes several unheard of names, all of which offer tastings or single glass options in very pleasant surroundings.

The accommodation was rather basic which is ok for the price we paid. Also it was in a good location with only a 10-15min scenic walk to the restaurants and cafes. It was also clean. Unfortunately the air conditioning did not work and the tv was not clear. We did not have the best sleep as it was rather hot.

Convenient; good value for cost
Super convenient to champagne houses; just a short walk. Can also easily access the center of town with many restaurants and shops. Friendly staff who were very accommodating and did their best to communicate in English. Rooms small, but seemed to have been renovated with new furnishings. Would stay again.

The Price of Champagne
A typical 1960's French chain hotel, which means small rooms and (hopefully) reasonable prices. This is close to the Avenue de Champagne in Epernay, so is popular with tourists and the price in season reflects that (higher than the hotel itself is worth). It's been well-modernised and is well-managed, but the rooms are small and the shower room smaller still. Adequate (just) work space, excellent wi-fi, good parking and very convenient for the Champagne houses of Epernay.

The hotel is in desperate need of a facelift inside. The addition of air-conditioning is a priority, we could open any window as there was only a door allowing full access from the outside. Bar facilities were poor with only bottle beer being offered. Although we chose not to take the breakfast, the facility was closed when we were about to depart at 08:15.
