Good Stopover

Posted 26-Aug-2017
Great Staff, good stopover choice, nice evening meal, suitable parking nearby. Small selection of breakfast was a letdown not worth the price Cathedral is a must visit, only 10min walk, lots of high street stores to shop in en route.

Disappointed

Posted 08-Jul-2017 on Hotels
The hotel is tired and badly in need of an overhaul. The bathroom had been but bedroom, landings , etc are torn and worn . It was hot and there was no aircon. I would not stay again.

Charming hotel with a nice restaurant.

Posted 06-Jul-2017
Pros: The restaurant attached to the hotel was pretty good with a friendly staff. The room was very clean. Location is great!
Cons: Have fans ready for guests when the temperature is hot or install air conditioning.
Location: The hotel was in walking distance of the train station, downtown, historical sites and champagne houses. We were able to walk to everything.
Hotel Bristol is a neat hotel with a lot of charm. The double room was pretty small but that was okay. Our only problem was the lack of air conditioning. It was very hot even with the windows open. We asked about a fan but were told there were none. I'm sure that when the temperature is cooler, the rooms are fine but when the temp is not cool, it's pretty miserable.

The hotel room was very quiet. Being on the 5th floor, it was a bit warm but it was more than 30º outside. The hotel is in the very centre close to many restaurants. Room very functional.

Amazing location

Posted 28-Apr-2017 on Hotels
Just steps from the Reims train station this hotel couldn't not have been more convenient. In the middle of the action for nightlife and things to do. A long(but enjoyable walk to a couple of the wineries that we toured but Norte Dame of Reims along the way and plenty of little out of the way restaurants to try instread of the downtown crowds. Room was definitely in need of some updates but it was clean and comfortable with a backony over looking the main square. Staff at the door were friendly and spoke many languages.

Great pedestrian walking area

Posted 20-Nov-2016
We got the top floor, elevator accessible, secure, secure underground parking for a discounted 8.75€ with an elevator that opens up to the ground level nearly outside the hotel doors. The hot water kettle and champagne glasses were a lovely touch!! We enjoyed the great hot water pressure, but the shower wasn't exactly leak proof.... gotta do a European shower and crouch down while holding the spout or the bathroom floor will get too wet. The neighborhood is filled with cafes and restaurants and a short walk to the stunning cathedral Notre Dame.

Location, location, location

Excellent location, with subsidised parking in the multi storey underneath the main strip in Reims. Eldito restaurant adjoining the hotel was excellent for an evening meal - would recommend (with a bottle of champagne of course). Rooms do need a bit of modernising but, in my opinion, their current condition added to the charm of the hotel. Would stay again, the location could not be beat
