Residence Laudine
This is basically a student residence rather than a hotel. Rooms include a fridge and microwave but it is quite a distance from the cemtre of town and the usual tourist attractions. Check in time after 5.30 is also quite a disadvantage.

Dear customer, A a matter of fact it is a student residence whose some rooms are dedicated for hostel service where you can have the breakfast. In our rooms you can find a small kitchen with all the stuff you need to cook. The distance from the center is about 10 min by car and the famous cellar of Pommery is about 2 min walking. Indeed, as we specify you in the e-mail of confirmation when you book, the reception is opened from 5.30 to 8.00 If you ask us that you arrive before or later we give all the information to get the key. Great basic cheap accommodation
Great basic accommodation. It looks like a student room with en suite toilet and shower. Also fridge,microwave and hob. Cheap parking at €5. Ideal for a short stay. Make sure you observe reception opening times for your arrival or make arrangements. We arrived 2 hours early and had to wait.

Handy for a stop over,
Just a bit further away from the Cathedral than i would have liked. But handy for a few resturants.Good value for money.Comfortable bed, ground floor room.

Simple and pleasant - get what you pay for
Simple room with all you need for your stay - even two little candies. Room is more an apartment than a hotel room, which was great for us - equipped with a microwave and a kitchenette. Only Con - Inconvenient Checkin-Checkout time

Not a hotel for Americans traveling on their own!
I would rate this hotel -5 if I could! This hotel is hard to find, Identified with the wrong number. behind locked gates with no combination provided in advance, has no parking available for check-in (street parking is almost nonexistent) and is minimally identified as Residence Laudine and not Hotel Laudine! Our GPS correctly led us to the location but we had to try it twice to believe it was close. We had to park in an illegal parking place to get out and scout the place on foot. We walked to both the back and the front of the buildings and then inquired of a passerby (who only spoke French). He pointed to a building which under closer inspection contained in a rather obtuse location the title "Residence Laudine". Walking some more led us to a locked gate with the address 8 (not7). We were able to wave down a lady in the lobby who was apparently a resident, who let us in but provided no other information (she also spoke only French). After examining the lobby for a few minutes (we believe we were there until the 5:30 check-in time) we decided to leave and try to find another place to stay. At approximately 7:00 PM we received an e-mail (in French) asking (we think) if we would be there before 8:00 PM and providing the gate code. It is our conclusion that this is an apartment residence doing hotel business on the side using extra rooms. They are definitely not run like a good hotel! Americans should avoid this hotel if at all possible!

Value for money
Room was very clean and while it was basic it had almost everything you needed. We knew it was primarily student accommodation. Room and bathroom were spacious and there was a sink, some cutlery and crockery and a microwave, however no kettle - (water could be boiled in microwave or saucepan.) there was a student desk and small flat screen TV but no channels in English. Would recommend, good priced budget room.

I was travelling to see the great champagne houses in Reims. This hotel is a 10 minute walk from Tait tender and Vranken-Pommery. No air conditioning but it was comfortable enough. The room has WiFi and a small fridge, microwave, and a free laundry facility. Extremely limited hours for the front desk so you need to be independent.

Check the check-in times carefully!
Make sure that you read the fine print that tells you that reception is only open from 5.30pm. We arrived too early but that was our faults. Parking is not easy to find.... you have to be lucky. Also there are no restaurants nearby so if you find a car spot and drive to dinner you have to be lucky again. We decided to cook.

Low-cost Laudine
Clean, comfortable, value for money, friendly staff. It was a budget booking and, with that in mind, we got everything we paid for. I left my laptop behind and the staff were helpful in locating and returning it to me. Happy to recommend.

Good budget hotel
The bed was quite comfortable, kitchenette was quite useful, massive bathroom, almost out of proportion to the rest of the room, the internet didn't work very well, we were there for 4 nights, and it only worked for 2. There is free washing machines to use which was nice. Didn't eat any of the breakfasts there so can't comment, as we had the kitchenette. Bus stop was a 5 min walk, or 25-30 min walk into town. Close to 2 champagne houses. Not sure if we would stay again as it's also uni residence.

Clean,tidy accommodation for cheap overnight stay
Arrived late evening. Parked car in underground car park. Went out for evening, returned, slept, breakfasted and left. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful, as were the students/guests we met during our stay. Good, basic accommodation for an overnight stopover.

Great hotel!
We loved this hotel - although the rooms are more like small self-serviced apartments (a good thing!) The receptionists were always very friendly, and the hotel has a free gym and free laundry. The room was near-new and very clean, with a microwave, two hobs and a sink. The bathroom was huge! The only drawback of the hotel is its location as it is a bit far out for tourists to easily see sights. That said, we walked into town most days and it only took about 30 minutes. Otherwise, there is a bus stop nearby (5min walk), with buses fairly frequently. Overall - I recommend.

Excellent base for Champagne visits
Hotel is actually part of student accommodations but it is really quiet. There are a number of Champagne houses within easy walking reach. You can get into the centre of town via the number 3 bus which runs until very late. The bus stop is 300m along the road and it's easy to find your way.

It was a nice place for a single night. It did not have AC, and the weather was hot and muggy, so it was a bit uncomfortable. I left both windows open for some breeze and that helped. You can park on the street (either side wherever there is not a zig-zag line) so don't bother paying 5 Euros for the underground parking. The breakfast for 5 Euros was overpriced - the selection was very poor. Basically cereal, bread, yogurt, and peach sauce. And 2 kinds of juice.

For the location & price-great
My husband and I stayed here one night to travel the champagne region. It is perfect walking distance from Pommery and Veuve Cliquet. If you want to see the cathedral and eat at restaurants other than the house vineyards-it is a solid 15 minute walk into the center of town. The room was similar to a dorm room with a desk, full small kitchen, shower and bed. We arrived at 3PM hoping to check in early before 5:30. The reception was closed but returned around 5:15 and attendants were available. Free on street parking and safe. For the price and location it is great but if you want to pay more for a room-than go elsewhere.

great for a stay in Reims
Right next to Pommery, 5min drive to city center. It was a bit hard to find at first because it's part of a large building, and parking was tricky in the evenings, but once you are there it's quite nice. Room is spacious with kitchenette. The bed was OK, just a large foam mattress. The room was also quite secure; metal roll down cover for windows and heavy locking door the front desk staff was friendly, but it would have been nice if they had longer hours of being there.

Nice, clean, quiet self catering room.
Perfect location for our trip, just a little dismayed at the security - when we returned to the Residence at 3am, the gate was open as were the two doors into reception, so no need for the key fob at all. The gate was never closed while we were there. On the other hand it was a very nice quiet neighbourhood, and perfect for our needs. We would stay again. We did not avail of breakfast.

J'ai passé un bon séjour, appartement propre, le robinet de salle de bain bougeait, ça doit être un chauffage collectif, car defois je n'avait pas super chaud. Mais sinon dans l'ensemble ça allait. Parfois un peu galère pour trouver de la place dans la rue. Mais sinon j'aurais pu prendre le parking sous terrain mais c'était un petit budget supplémentaire par nuitée. (9€) le petit déjeuner nikel rien a redire... Si je devais y retourner ça serait sans problème tout de même.
