This apartment provides you with the availability of unlimited activities & adventures that few people are privileged enough to experience. Located on the south end of Broadkill Beach, this spacious two bedroom property faces the sandy beach just a few steps from the front door. To the back of the property is your own private dock for crabbing ,fishing and kayaking . Come stay and enjoy our beautiful suite!

This apartment is a 2 bedroom in-law suite on the first floor of our home. The spacious bedrooms feature 2 twin daybed and 1 queen size bed. Each bedroom has access to the back deck with amazing views of the wildlife refuge. The bathroom is equipped with a oversized shower with grab-bars. There is also a small, fully equipped eat-in kitchen. It's a great place for that first cup of coffee in the morning or a sunset dinner! Unlike many beach homes, there are only about 6 steps to walk up to this first floor reteat.

We do reside in the property, so Captain Steve is available to share his knowledge of the local fishing & crabbing. Bobbie will certainly assist with any questions about some of the best local restaurants and activities, including her favorite spa. If you have any questions, please let us know!

the beach in March
Well-situated, well-equipped, clean. Beach access right across the street, sunset over the marsh, a sky full of stars. Friendly hosts, comfy beds. Quiet in March with no biting flies and hardly any people. Loved the town of Milton and nearby Lewes and Cape Henlopen.

What a fabulous location
Ocean across the street, wildlife refuge out back. Peaceful and quiet. Comfortable and bathroom and kitchen were very well stocked. Unit was SPOTLESS. Owners pleasant and organized. Perfect for two or three people.

The location is perfect for a peaceful and quiet stay with views of the marsh right off our deck and beach access just across the street. Steve & Bobbi were excellent hosts and the unit was clean and very well stocked.

If you’re looking for a no-frill, restful beach vacation this is the spot! Well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, lovely screened in porch and the beach is across the street over the dune! Steve and Bobbi are terrific hosts. The towns, closes by, are all worth exploring. Hope to return next September.

Ideal vacation home
Steve and Bobbi's place was everything we needed/wanted. If you know Broadkill Beach, you already know that the location is fabulous, down toward the southern end of S. Bayshore Drive — so quiet, so peaceful, and so full of natural beauty. Steve and Bobbi's place is on the canal side with ultra-easy access to the bay (90-second walk across the street), where they've got three beach umbrellas planted in the sand, a great landmark for finding your way home when you're swimming. The two bedrooms overlook the canal and are separated from the kitchen and BA by a winding hallway, so people trying to sleep don't hear noise from kitchen or BA. I could say more, but I'll just cut to the chase: The only reason NOT to stay here is if you don't want to be at Broadkill Beach.

Hosts are great people and provided all needed for a lovely stay. Extremely clean and perfectly situated to beach, with magnificent views of marsh from back deck. Very comfortable. We look forward to going back.

Complete comfort in a quiet natural setting
Great place to spend a few days if you want to get away from crowds, traffic, and commercial/developed areas. Bring groceries and enjoy easy meal-prep in the well-supplied kitchen. The place was spacious (for the two of us) and immaculately clean. The deck out back offered hours of quiet solitude overlooking the vast green marsh preserve with sounds of nature. The sound of the ocean (technically the Bay) beckoned right out the front door and we had the beach to ourselves almost (until the weekend). Beach Plum Island nature preserve is right down the street. Breathtaking views of the marsh wilderness and bay shore the way nature is meant to be. We will go back as soon as possible!
