"Our stay in Reedville was very relaxing. Our guests ranged in age from 16 months to 84 years old. The littlest were delighted with the beach and the water was perfect for wading. They also enjoyed all of the swings and hammocks and the local wildlife. The older kids (teens) had a great time swimming and kayaking. We caught some crabs and fish. Bird watchers will delight in the variety seen. Herons, osprey, gulls, vultures and a variety of songbirds. The evenings were filled with the song of the cicadas and the cutest little tree frogs taking advantage of the bugs near the houses.We comfortably fit 4 adults and 5 children. The house is well stocked and the guest house is perfect for older teens or adults. The privacy of the property is unmatched. Truly an oasis from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. Veronica, our hostess, was incredibly communicative before the trip and during. All questions were promptly answered. I would definitely like to see another regular kayak on the property and if you’re traveling with a child you get than two, I would recommend bringing your own high chair or booster seat. "

"Just what we needed. Home away from home. Sheets on the bed, towels in the bathroom and very well stocked kitchen. We only used the coffee pot because there are very good restaurants near by, Horn Harbor, Los Portales, KC Crabs & Cues, Coles Point Tavern and Chitter Chats Ice Cream. Don’t forget the bug spray, being this close to water you’re gonna have black flies, no-see-ums and mosquitoes. Everybody is so nice, so throw up your hand and say hi. "
