The hotel was so beautiful and close walking distance to the city center and the new street station. It was quiet and well secured. The staff were also very attentive and changed my room when I complained about the initial room that was given to me. I would definitely visit here in the future

The hotel is situated in a very central position within the mailbox. When checking in the property wasn’t very welcoming as the coffee shop was closed,there was water on the lobby floor and a homeless gentleman was walking around. Having stayed at this hotel many times years ago unfortunately it is a very poor comparison to how it used to be,the decor is very tired,the furniture dated and the bathrooms very basic. That said,it was impeccably clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable.

Amazing, welcoming and baby friendly place - we enjoyed our stay so much. Used the cafe next to reception after we dropped off luggage early. Very convenient. Right next to shops. Room temperature could be easier to control, check in quicker and cooked breakfast could be slightly better. Overall was excellent though and will be first choice in Birmingham when we are next back!

Lovely hotel
Lovely stay, everyone polite and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh, well presented and everything that you could possibly want was available. I felt very comfortable and safe there.

A great hotel to stay at…
We travelled from the capital to visit family in Birmingham and booked the Malmaison for one night. I have to say that we were not disappointed. The room was lovely and spacious, the shower was just what the doctor ordered and the beds were so comfortable, I fell asleep virtually immediately! Breakfast the next morning was on point. I can’t knock anything about the trip. I’ll definitely be back!

Had a great stay. Room was spacious but a little cold. Went for the afternoon tea spa day. The afternoon tea wasn’t great- everything was cold like it was just taken out of the fridge/ freezer and hadn’t had time to thaw through. Had the same issue with breakfast cold beans and egg. Spa was ok but the treatments were amazing. Ursula did an amazing job with the massage and facial so would highly recommend even if it’s just for the spa treatments. All the staff were fantastic and very helpful. Had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again. And will be returning for the spa treatments. Great location for food and drinks.

Christmas shopping weekend
Lovely stay with my mother and mother in law. However they might want to think about changing the taxi service company. They refused to take us to our restaurant booking as the traffic was bad however this caused an issue for my elderly parents and they have issues with mobility. Overall I would stay again to the.
