We had 3 rooms and all beds were very hard! Jet lagged saved us as exhausted so didn’t matter. You have to climb into huge tub/shower so if your older and a new hip a bit of a struggle. Elevator great! Breakfast room very outdated but ladies are nice.
The good, bad and the beautiful:
Good - very close to the market and excellent dining. The neighborhood is lovely and the ancient church grounds nearby are stunning.
Bad - walls very thin. Neighbors came in around 3:30am and it sounded like they were in the room. Neighbors across the hall left at 7am and same experience.
Beautiful - the staff, specifically Miguel, were attentive, helpful and generally outstanding! They allowed us to store our bags, helped us make ground transportation and gave us ideas and tourist info. Wonderful stay!
Excellent check in by Migel. He was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very large with a very large bathroom. We were very happy with our room. One minor issue was the bath was very narrow which some people would find very hard to get in and out if they had mobility issues. Breakfast was a bonus a good overall selection. We enjoyed our stay and would definately stay again.
We thought this was the perfect stop over before boarding the cruise ship to Greece. The bonus is that Ravenna is a lovely town with a square filled with people of all ages. Another lovely spot in Italy! The staff were very helpful!

The facility was clean, well lit, and friendly staff that help us navigate the city during our stay. Will definitely return to this hotel if we are in Ravenna again 🙂
Great location and staff very helpful. Good restaurants and attractions within walking distance.

Very hard bed really made sleeping difficult. Fabrizio at the front desk was no helpful at all with port transportation. I think too lazy to stay on hold and try. The person the day before was more helpful. If you are going on a cruise book your transfer in advance with visitravenna.it. Cost is 20 euro per person with one large luggage. Taxis are 30 euro per taxi but almost impossible to book. Ships have a bus from the train station but it is a TOUGH walk from the hotel.
A very pleasant stay. Staff were excellent, the room and breakfast buffet above average. It is on a quiet side street a very short walk away from the Doumo and many good restaurants
I liked that the hotel was within walking distance of the train station and of the historical sites I went to see, like the Basilica di San Vitale and the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia. The price was reasonable and the room was.clean and quiet.

Not good
I was extremely disappointed in our stay. We saw the good reviews here and booked this hotel for one night before our cruise. The staff were very kind and helpful. The lobby felt like Frank Sinatra might walk through it in the 1960’s with a martini (in a fun retro vibe way). The non-smoking room STUNK of cigarettes. It was so overpowering I could not sleep. I thought about asking to change, but our children’s room next door also reeked, so we assumed it was a larger issue. The bed came with one very thin pillow each. The bed was hard as a rock. The air conditioning did not work, although we were given a fan that did. It was 97F that day, so it was miserable trying to sleep with all of these issues. The area around the hotel was perfect, just a couple of streets to shops and restaurants without having to hear them out the window.

We had to walk with luggage fr train station to hotel, no taxis on a Sunday @ 10:00pm, no #s to call or people to ask…but the situation was salvaged by the front desk staff who was extremely courteous, addressed every single need of us (very hungry and very tired guests) with patience and care…thank you!
We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and very comfortable, the breakfast good and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is also very close to anything you might want to see in the historical center.
Stay was excellent very clean comfortable room very friendly staff specially David and close to the center will always come back we are a group of 6 all very happy
Older hotel in an interesting part of Ravenna with easy access to a town square, shopping, bank, food. Breakfast was classic European with meats, cheeses, pastries, coffee and juices, pleasantly served. Great coffee services by the ladies who kept everything stocked.
