"Friendly staff but poor service
Basic breakfast "
I stayed here because my son will be marrying in Revello next year. Hotel is ideally located and very clean. I found the staff very friendly but the service was poor. I kept having to find staff for drinks, plates, milk. Once I found staff very helpful.
Breakfast was very disappointing, I did not eat there in the evening. Went into the square which was lovely
We completely enjoyed this hotel. It's location is ideal in Ravello as it is close to the town square and great places to eat and shop.
Though the hotel is a little dated in its fixtures and furniture, it has an old world charm that gives it an authenticity and hominess.
The best feature of this hotel is its staff - from the concierge to the desk staff, waiters, bartenders, housekeeping staff and bellman - all were like family. The staff were beyond attentive, genuinely wanted our stay to be pleasant, always had a smile on their faces and would do anything to improve our stay and our enjoyment of the area.

The room was meticulously clean, though the place hasn't been done up for a while (eg there is some cracked plaster; the water wasn't piping hot, etc). The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The food we had there was superb, and very reasonably priced. Fantastic views, including beautifully situated pool looking down over Minori and Maiori. Excellent breakfast included in price.
drove to ravello and had a little trouble finding ravello rooms but completely worthwhile as our room was a good size and the view spectacular. Guiseppe was the best host with great friendly advise, great coffees and lovely breakfasts. Our 4 days there went all to fast. Highly recommend. There are a few stairs to climb but there are stairs everywhere.
Villa Maria is a great mid-range hotel on the Amalfi Coast. The bathroom was especially spacious and the jacuzzi tub was a nice plus. A porter met us at the base of Ravello and brought all of our luggage up in a small golf cart type car, which was awesome because there are a lot of steps to get up to the hotel! This isn't a place for people who are out of shape or have a disability. The hotel also arranged our transfers between the hotel and Naples. You get a card for a free welcome drink at their sister hotel and can use the pool there. Our favorite part was probably eating breakfast out on their terrace every morning - so relaxing! Plus they made sure to have soy milk for me every morning. I would absolutely stay there again, but I would request a different room. The room we had (room 12) was directly next to the restaurant but one floor down. You could see the restaurant from our balcony. It got quite noisy at times and wasn't as private as we would have liked for our honeymoon. Overall, our stay was great!

We chose this apartment for the location, views and cost and it didn't dissapoint. The view across the Amalfi coast from the balcony was stunning! The apartment was basic, and probably needs updating, but suited us fine. Kitchen was well equiped. Advisable to arrange a private transfer to/from the apartment as it is around 20 min walk uphill to the centre of Ravello, via lots and lots of steps, impossible with luggage. Due to the steps, anyone with
difficulty walking or with a very young family would struggle. Gregorio the owner was really quick to reply to my emails and recommened a reliable taxi service.

"Beautiful terrace with amazing view over the coast"
Fantastic location with awesome views out over the coast. Great base for walking to Amalfi or Minori and exploring the rest of the Amalfi coast. Loved having breakfast served on the spacious terrace which was also a wonderful location for a drink in the evening. Very quiet, away from tourist central. Luigi and Rosalba were very friendly and helpful hosts.
Balcony views are plentiful along this beautiful coast, but little matches Ravello’s panoramic seascape. Steps from the main square of Piazza Vescovado lead to the cathedral of San Pantaleone– don’t miss the fine marble pulpits. Two villas in lovely gardens also deserve a visit. Villa Rufolo holds a summer festival of classical concerts. The belvedere views from the English-style gardens of the Villa Cimbrone are breathtaking.
