"Balcony view of the St. Clair River was great. I saw many large ships glide by. Microwave and refrigerator were nice extras. Ladies who cleaned the rooms were most helpful. Freighters Restaurant prices were reasonable and food was very good. Morning coffee in the hotel lobby area was a great perk"

"We arrived early during a red-eye flight and requested early check-in, if possible, so we can rest and catch some zzz's. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and allowed us to stay and have breakfast while she looked for available rooms, which she later found. The room is nice, clean and spacious. The inn is conveniently located near a freeway exit though there are no nearby shops. Very nice customer service and we definitely recommend for anyone in the future."

"We stayed at this home from August 2–5 for a family trip and overall had a good experience. We would rate our stay 3.8 out of 5 stars.The home itself is beautiful, spacious, and has a great layout for large groups. One of our favorite features was that each bedroom had its own bathroom, which made getting ready much easier for everyone. The backyard is large and clearly designed for entertaining. Our favorite part of the home, though, was the kitchen. The open-concept kitchen, dining room, and family room created the perfect gathering space, and that's where we spent most of our time together. The beds were also comfortable enough for a good night's sleep.There were a few things that kept our stay from being a higher rating. The dishwasher was not working, so we had to hand wash all of our dishes. While there was dishwasher detergent provided, there was no dish soap, so we had to purchase our own. The home also could have been better stocked with essentials, as there were not enough trash bags or paper towels for our stay.Some of the furniture is due for replacement. Several of the couches and some of the dining chairs were broken and uncomfortable. We also noticed the kitchen window was covered with dead bugs and spider webs, which took away from the otherwise beautiful kitchen. The patio screen door has a large hole in it, allowing bugs to come inside whenever the door is opened.The TV in the main living area also stopped working during our stay, which was disappointing"

"This was one of the nicest houses I have ever stepped foot inside of, it was a spectacle in itself. Plenty of room, enough space for everyone to be comfortable, very clean, great bathrooms, great views and just about everything you could need in a rental.We had so much fun here, had a great round of golf, and thouroughly enjoyed our time downtown. I would highly reccommend this VRBO to anyone who asked or is planning a large trip with friends or family!"
