We really enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott and would definitely return on a future stay in Bangkok. We arrived early in the morning and our Executive room was ready and waiting for us. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed and good pillows, a writing desk and lamp, lots of power points for plugging devices in, a reasonable selection of TV channels and a good bathroom although the hotel is a bit mean with their bars of soap- the smallest ones I have ever seen in a hotel! The reception staff were very nice and efficient and the staff generally at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The Executive Lounge was nice- we dropped in for afternoon tea on our first day but were a bit disappointed- a few plastic wrapped sandwiches and slices of cake in the fridge- nothing out displayed on the counter- so really not too impressed with the 'afternoon tea'! Evening was better with their snacks and drinks- a nice selection of food and drink although it got a bit crowded as the space is quite limited. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area was smallish but adequate for a city hotel and the gym seemed fine although we didn't have time to try it. It was easy getting taxis from the hotel and the people at the transport desk were always helpful. The buffet breakfast at Momo was excellent- a nice selection of food and everything well displayed and appetizing. The staff too were friendly and efficient. All in all a very pleasant stay!
