Madison only about 4 - 5 miles to the summits. Everyone that has stayed at the Inn says that the pictures don't do the views and Inn justice. The Main House is 5,800 sf +/- and has 8 Bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom ensuite, 5 King and 3 Queen rooms with minisplit AC and heat controls in each room, 3 bedrooms are on the 1st floor and 5 on the 2nd floor. There is also a 2nd building on the property called the Carriage House, that is 2,300 sf +/-, which has 3 additional ground floor accessible bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queen) each with its own bathroom and 1 bedroom studio apartment on the second floor with a King Bed. The Carriage House combined with the 8 bedrooms in the Main House for a total of 12 bedrooms/13.5 Bathrooms and up to 30 total Guests The common rooms are great for big groups to get together in the large living room with wet bar, player piano, stereo, and big TV, or sun room with stunning views and the formal dining room that seats 20+. The spacious kitchen has been recently updated and has 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers, 2 Refrigerators, double wall ovens, convection/microwave oven and a large 5 burner stove. There is a table that seats 8 in the kitchen and it is a great place to gather and make meals for everyone. The pricing on this listing is for the 12 Bedrooms/13.5 Bathrooms. If you only want to rent the 8 BR Main House, please contact me, then there may be other guests in the Carriage House. This option is only available during off peak times and close to arrival time. The large garage can be used to store your gear and toys, if needed. There is lots of room to store your winter/summer gear in a huge closet right by the rear entry to the house, great for ski and hiking boots. Outside, there is a heated inground pool from mid May thru September and a brand new hot tub installed in September of 2025 and in the pool area there is a wet bar in the pool house and a separate full bathroom for the pool area, a large outside dining area with grill, firepit, and outdoor play area with corn hole, swings for little ones. You can hike the white mountains and bike the presidential rail trail, a 20+ mile long bike trail directly from the property without getting in a car! The property has been updated and is the perfect place for a family reunion, small wedding, yoga retreat, corporate function, or gathering of friends for hiking, biking, skiing, snow mobiles and much more. The Main House has lots of books, toys and games to play while you are there for the big and little kids. If you are interested in having the Inn be your small wedding/event location, a one week rental of the entire place is required and there will be additional fees for cleaning, We are not wedding/event planners, you will have to contract with caterers, etc... Message me to discuss your needs. The function can only be for guests staying at the inn, max 27 people. There is a caretaker who maintains the pool and hot tub daily as well as the grounds, and who can respond to questions or solve problems. Every person or couple got their own private bedroom with its own bathroom and an A/C unit in their room so everyone could be comfortable despite some humid weather outside. The pool and hot tub were taken care of each morning by the caretaker and we spent a lot of time out on the pool deck enjoying the weather. The backyard with fire pit was also big enough to fit all of us around the fire and have some privacy behind the house so we weren't facing the street. Overall everything was perfect for our group. Easy to get to, unmistakeable from U.S. 2, and within about 15 minutes of a wal mart supercenter for anything you forgot to bring (we made multiple trips there). Road noise is barely noticeable from inside or back yard and did not bother any of us. Both the host and caretaker were responsive and helpful. We were disappointed by the hot tub being unexpectedly out of commission during our stay but the host was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Would love to return in warmer weather to experience the pool! ##### Jared I. We searched for months for a space big enough to sleep 20 adults comfortably! We found it at The Inn at Bowman. Just the right amount of space for privacy and togetherness all in one beautiful space! The kitchen is well appointed with pots, pans, plenty of utensils and dishes and refrigerators! The bedrooms were clean as were the bathrooms and the beds were very comfortable! The grounds were good, we enjoyed the fire pit and the pool was perfect for relaxing with it’s beautiful mountain backdrop! The area was great with something for everyone! Breweries, mountain hikes, waterfalls, ATVs or just relaxing on the front porch. We truly had a great time and are still taking about all the precious memories we created! The house was amazing with each bedroom having a private bathroom and multiple bedrooms with multiple bed space that were perfect for the young families who had children so they could all stay together. There was plenty of gathering space for watching the Olympics and a room where the kids could watch their cartoons and play. The kitchen was perfect with plenty of plates, cups, pots and pans. Eating was a delight as we filled the main dining room and utilized more space off the kitchen. The heated pool and hot tub were a delight to young and old. Sightseeing was with in a short drive and even a long hike within walking distance. Highly recommend, Lost River Gorge and Boulder Caves, Mt Washington Cog RR, Storyland, Diana's Baths, Flume River Gorge. The view from the front porch and pool is beautiful. Wal Mart is a short drive into town. Check in was easy and Ben was awesome in answering questions prior to our stay. Thank you Ben for offering this beautiful space as a large vacation for reunion groups. ##### Betsy F. The large dining room could fit all 20 at the table. Beautiful views of the Presidential Range. Nicely secluded, but on a busy, main road. A short (15 minute) drive to town centers and a Super Walmart. However, there were some problems with the property. One bedroom's A/C didn't work. We were told about this just prior to arrival but it was never fixed during our stay and the repair crew didn't arrive until Thursday (our arrival was on Saturday) and couldn't repair the damage. One bedroom in the Carriage House had a strong, musty odor that no amount of cleaning could eradicate. The hot tub was not fully functioning. Other reviews noted this issue. We were surprised to learn that not all rooms in the carriage House connected to a central entrance. The mixed match of pots and pans, with only on pot with a lid and only one good frying pan, didn't fit with a building designed for large groups. We had requested to have the two rollaway beds available. Upon arrival they were in place, but both were broken. We reported this issue and said that we could make do without them. ##### Paul Z. We had a wonderful week together enjoying the gorgeous views and large gathering spaces. Would love to return there sometime. That being said, there were some issues with mice and a non-working hot tub which many of our group were hoping to use. The owner did respond quickly on the mice issue once we realized it was not a one-time sighting and had trapped several. Think the inoperable hot tub issue should have been made known prior to our arrival. Overall, it is a lovely home in breathtaking surroundings and the owner is responsive to issues. ##### Salvatore D. The property was spacious and beautiful, just as described in the listing. The views are absolutely stunning.We had an issue when we arrived with an infestation of lady bugs because of the rapid change of weather, but Ben was very responsive and it was taken care of. After that everything went smoothly.We loved the variety of public spaces, eg the kitchen with it’s small dining area, the big living room and dining room, and the den off of the kitchen. We absolutely loved the hot tub.The only issue we had was that the house is not accessible for anyone with mobility issues, eg there are areas with steps leading from one room to another, and the steps down to the dining room don’t have a banister. This was challenging to some of our older family members. But overall it was a wonderful week for us and we would definitely come again. ##### Miv L.
