Staff were excellent and friendly. Great views and good location. The only downside is the limited parking. We were parked on sire for 1 night and then had to move 2 streets away for the next 2 nignts. But there is nothing that can be done as the Hotel is limited on space. If you know that fine and it shouldn't detract from you stay (or arrive by train to Par.) We enjoyed it and thanks to the staff.

Great stay
Only there for a short time working but the service was excellent. Hotel was spotless and the room was very comfortable. I would recommend and would stay again.

Nicest hotel we’ve been to in a long time.
Really really great hotel. Reserved parking as promised, thank goodness. Staff all lovely. Very clean room , sparkling bathroom and very comfortable bed.

Lack of information supplied regarding the lack of parking untill after we paid for the booking. At the time of booking it stated "none refundable". Uncomfortable seats "Wicker chairs" supplied in the restaurant and in hotel rooms. Made the stay less enjoyable. Breakfast - Could of been better based on the price and again the quality of product. Overall disapointing based on the value of venue - It was a shame.

Loverly stay in a great location. Check that there isn't a wedding on before you book. We were warned after we had booked, but a bit late by then. All the limited parking spaces had been allocated to wedding guests and we felt a bit like second class citizens. That said we still enjoyed our break.

Beautiful hotel in charming Fowey. Problem they don’t have AC and ceiling fan so it gets stuffy. Refrigerator doesn’t work and would be nice to have washcloths.

The decor was beautiful, the Victorian lift amazing, the view stunning. The bed was soooo comfy. We enjoyed the delicious food and the two ladies on breakfast duty were lovely, the younger staff there could use a few of their hospitality skills. We would recommend and wil be returning.

As long as you survive the narrow winding and steep lanes and remember to book parking this is a fabulous place to stay. Beautiful views across the water and lovely, warm, welcoming staff. Bathroom was a little cramped but other than that a perfect stay

It really is worth the Cornish driving to get here isn't it and only the last few miles from any main road are that bit more interesting. Our views are incredible aren't they but even better to see how well the team looked after you. Having the right people does make such a difference doesn't it.I am sorry the bathroom was a bit on the small side, we were limited by the configuration of an old building so sadly some of these are cosier than we would have liked. Overall impression good with modern refurbished bedrooms but restaurant and lounge area not impressive Parking facilities abysmal Enjoyed but would not stay again

Dear John, Thank you for your review and I am sorry you did take to our hotel. Thank you for the positive comments on the bedrooms. Our lounge / bar is fairly compact and does lead nicely into the modern informal restaurant. As we in a small Cornish town our parking is very limited which we do offer reservations for. If we have a space when you book we will happily reserve one for you other wise we do inform you where the local parking is. I am sorry you do not feel you would like to return but do please re-consider, the earlier you book the greater chance of getting parking. Kind regards, Andrew Jenkins, General Manager
