"Lovely pub and inn at the heart of the village. The room was lovely, very comfortable! At the end of each day I would arrive back at my room to find a homemade cookie waiting for me; it's these little touches that really demonstrate attention to detail and the thoughtfulness of the staff. It's a Dog friendly hotel, and there was a very cute friendly dog who greeted me as I went to check in. Would highly recommend, and will certainly stay again! Useful hotel for those walking or cycling through the Chiltern Hills, located relatively close to the Ridgeway Route. "

"Lovely stay at a genuine village pub, not a restaurant with rooms or a hotel with a bar, this is the real thing. Beautifully furnished rooms, amazing staff and service and fantastic atmosphere, and Blewbury is beautiful. The Ukrainian menu has to be tried! We loved also that the dog was as welcome as we were."

"What a find.Would definitely recommend This lovely cottage situated in the grounds of an apple orchard. Very spacious, comfortable and clean everything you need. A lovely place to return too after days out to just relax and unwind. Thankyou to Judy the owner who was very helpful and friendly."

"This place was a dump. It smelled if sewage and the owner/manager was rude and arrogant. He sent an invoice for GBP20 for an early check-in, we were there an hour early, he gave us the key and never said a thing; good luck with that !!!. The menu was pathetic. We didn't eat there at all. Horrible experience. The room was very clean as was the bathroom, but the sewage smell was unbearable. Never again, whoever owns this place needs a new manager, if the manager is the owner this place can't possibly last long. "

She has great knowledge of the surrounding area as we wanted to go walking and even emailed with an extra details.The guest to guest book was good giving information on successful trips by them. The bird seed was a lovely addition and we enjoyed seeing the local ones devour the food we had put out."
