The Avani is a secluded gem. The setting is beautiful. You have access to a pool area and a private beach. The staff are gracious as can be. The yoga in the morning is a welcome way to start the day. Highly recommended.

Lovely staff at the hotel. Ocean view room was lovely. Staff were very attentive. Menu options and breakfast was a little limited but good you can have use of the antara at the side to sue their facilities.

The Avanti Resort, Quy Nhon 21-24 September 2023
The Avanti Resort in Quy Nhon is a little piece of heaven. Arriving at reception we were warmly greeted with a welcome drink and friendly service. Shown to our room, a deluxe suite on the upper floor, a spacious room with a stunning view across the private beach to the beautiful shoreline. The bed is positioned for the best view as you wake up to see the sunrise, not overlooked so no need to draw the curtain. Even in the shower you have a view of the beach. We ate at the restaurant for dinner each night and breakfast in the morning. The food was delicious and beautifully served by super friendly staff. Who were passionate in their job and had time to advise us of the meals and discuss the history of the resort and Quy Nhon. All of the staff are wonderful. The Avanti management should be super proud of them. They are happy to spend time talking to you, helpful with any queries and ready to assist where needed. The Avanti Resort is hidden away from the highway, on a private beach. It may seem isolated to some. There’s no strip of bars and restaurants nearby but we booked the 3 nights here for relaxation and recharge and we certainly achieved that. No need to go anywhere, with the amazing service, food, comfortable rooms and awesome location. We left feeling relaxed and have fallen in love with The Avanti Resort and hope to be back very soon.

Hands down the highlight of our trip to Vietnam. After spending some time in Hanoi, this place felt like heaven. Peacefull, beautiful. Every spacious room has an ocean view. Most of the time, we were the only people at the beach. Great food, totaly worth the higher price. I got an amazing Thai massage at the spa. Over all, highly recommended!!!

Calm with a view.
The Avani Quy Nhon is a perfect getaway for families. The hotel is well located in a secluded beach and all rooms have amazing views to the beach. The sunrise is simply gorgeous, it's worth to wake up early to appreciate it. The beach is private and calm and the hotel amenities are well kept. The hotel staff is friendly and attentive.

Fabulous stay - luxurious and secluded!
My husband and I stayed last week for 4 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary, as part of a 5 week trip around Vietnam. We loved the Avani hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome, and they threw in a couple of surprises for our anniversary - see photos... The rooms are beautiful, the balconies are a good size and directly viewing the ocean. The private beach and sunloungers are lovely. Beach service for food/drinks is also good. There are a couple of beach bars/restaurants less than 10 mins walk from the hotel, along the beach, which are both really good for cheaper food and drinks and if you’re like us, it’s nice to leave a resort and try out other places. We were also recommended a ‘very local’ seafood restaurant, about 15 minute taxi ride away in a nearby village. The staff arranged a taxi for us, and the driver waited 2 hours whilst we ate (cost was about £12 for the return journey and waiting time 😊). The seafood and fish was great; The resort was quiet when we stayed (low season as we discovered), though I’m sure the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff is probably normal and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only minus point (and its minor) would be that for a 5* resort we would usually expect a wider selection at breakfast. There is a reasonable choice of Western and Asian dishes but we have stayed in lesser starred resorts on this trip, which have offered more choice. Overall this is an excellent hotel - highly recommend!

Spa was excellent, the view from the room balcony, restaurant and the variety of food was excellent, the view on the swimming pool. Location is a little far from the center, but this not important because there is nothing interesting in the center. So anyone want to spend a relaxation and romantic time, that would be the right place to visit and stays.

My impression was impaired by non stop heavy rain. But I imagine with ⛅ it would be a very pleasant location on a lovely beach. A courtesy vehicle can take you into town and when this was not available they provided a taxi.

Beautiful location in a place not ruined by tourism. Would go back tomorrow. Hotel rooms all have a sea view and staff are just lovely. I can not fault the place one bit. It was my husbands birthday while we were there and they surprised us with a cake delivered to our room.

The Resort looks very nice. Rooms are spacious, clean and with an amazing view to a beautiful beach. Couldn’t sleep that well because the room became very dry - maybe it’s the old AC. Staff where genuinely very nice - speacially at the restaurant and spa. Reception where ok but not helpful when ask for information from outside, like booking a cheap local taxi. Breakfast was good with a big enough verity of foods. Food was just ok. The private beach is beautiful but couldn’t go in because the water was too dangerous. Overall we had a great time and where very happy.

Resort for adults
Fantastic stay with an attentive staff at a very reasonable price. Deliberately low key, this resort offers clean and spacious rooms, a beautiful ocean view pool and excellent food. We stayed there as the 5th and final stop on a whirlwind 3 week Asian tour and soaked up the relaxing atmosphere and the spa. The resort is not aimed at children who require constant stimulation nor young adults who are looking for a loud beach party. That said, if you want to escape the world for a while, relax, have a chance to read and eat some excellent food, this place is for you. The resort has wifi and the spa is fantastic.

Luxury at an affordable price
Taxi from train station costs between 300 - 400,000 vnd. This was significantly cheaper than booking the hotel pick up. Very friendly welcome on arrival. Refreshing drink and a three minute complimentary massage whilst the booking procedure was completed. Rooms are exactly as shown on the booking site. Very spacious, very clean and all accessories are top quality. Breakfast was exceptional. An abundance of choice, much of which is freshly cooked. Restaurant had an extensive menu for lunch and dinner. Top quality food, a little more expensive than local restaurants but still easily affordable. Room service was very efficient. Nice swimming pool area, very clean. Bar Near pool area. Sufficient sun beds. Weather was not so good during our stay so no sun shades around the pool but we did see plenty of them stacked close by. Did not use gym but other guest advised it was very good. Yoga classes each morning. Free pool table. Private beach, very clean in front of hotel plenty of sun beds. There was some rubbish on the beach closer to the nearby fishing village. Not many facilities close to the hotel, just a couple of eating places and local residents selling essential food supplies. This was a 5 minute walk on beach or a 15minute walk on the road if the tide was in. The hotel did run a minimal shuttle service into the local town each afternoon for a fee. Would highly recommend this hotel if looking for quiet, idyllic, peaceful stay with a touch of luxury.

Lots of Potential, Mediocre Food and Wellness
There are many things to love about this hotel. The spacious rooms are beachfront with great ocean views (though hard to swim in rocky waters, rough surf). Overall staff was terrific with true spirit of individualized customer service from the GM on down. However, there are some major issues--beginning with the food. The flavors and prep were very inconsistent, even the same dishes varied from one day to the next over our 13-day stay. The Chef while talented seemed on auto-pilot not to really care about each guests needs. He seemed to be going through the motions, bored or checked out. We are vegan and though we found the BEST vegetarian food in all of Asia in Vietnam, Avani's food was unremarkable at best. We even had a conversation with the Chef on arrival and they promised to make us many things we suggested, but unlike many other 5 star hotels who actually listen, our requests and orders were met with deaf ears. In short, the food was a complete disappointment. The yoga classes were also weak and more pseudo stretching than real yoga. The spa has some talented therapists, but they need more training.The Thai massage was okay but missed some key elements of technique that make Thai massages great. The deep tissue was almost exactly the same as the Thai massage and also technically missed important elements. Other than these three key areas, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning if they improved these weak points.

This is actually the second time we stayed at the Avani hotel, we reside in Ho Chi Minh City (about an hour's flight) and found it the first time to be a great place to really get out of the city and spend some quality time on the beach. The resort is really nice, while it may not have a lot of things a big resort might have (like lots of water sports or tennis or golf) it has a very nice clean (I think they clean it!) beach that is set apart from the local village. It is quiet and stylish and comfortable, the staff are very attentive and helpful (for example when I badly sunburned myself, the manager recommended and offered aloe cream). When I mentioned a dish was too salty for my taste (but I had eaten it nonetheless) they offered me a free drink (I'm kinda a squeaky wheel). it's a bit far from the city (Quy Nhon) but there is a little fishing village very nearby with a few backpacker hangouts, unfortunately that's about it for tourist attractions. We did manage to hire a boat to take us out (under the blazing sun!) to a nearby island, had fun snorkeling :) In short, while this may not appeal to the tourist traveling a great distance to "see Vietnam" it will appeal to those who are living/working in the area and want to get away from it all, in style and comfort. It's a bit more expensive but it's the best (from what I can tell) in the area.

For a quiet relaxing place for a short stay
This place is great for a short get-away from Vietnam's big cities. It's a little far from the airport and city but if you aren't intending on doing anything other than relaxing that should be fine. It is a little small for a resort so there aren't many things to do (just one pool and one main restaurant) but it is very nice. It is very new (2015 I think) and clean and the service is very nice. As I noted in my ratings, because of the lack of a lot of variety in the amenities I was just good, not excellent and other than a little village nearby there isn't a lot within walking distance. So I wouldn't recommend this place for a family with kids (no playground or arcade or water sports) nor would I recommend this for someone who wanted to see a lot of Vietnam. But for a nice, high quality stay it's fine.

very nice place if you like quiet, relaxing environment. Far from town (about 20 min to town center), but it is worth it. Well kept as the hotel is 14 years old, everything looks new and clean. Excellent and friendly staff, i was there in a slow season and got upgraded to better room without extra money, they just want me and my wife to enjoy the place and happy :-).

Peace and quite get away
We stayed 3 night at Avani Quy Nhon Resort & Spa. The resort itself is quite nice, staff are helpful and friendly. it has a private beach which is the highlight of the resort. However, the resort just a bit far from anywhere, airport and as well as city centre of Quy Nhon. The resort do not provide free shuttle to/from the City Centre which is inconvenience. Breakfast do lack of varieties and not enough food to cater for the crowded guests on the weekend. Other than that Avani Quy Nhon Resort & Spa is quite nice I do not mine coming back to stay.

Best beach in Vietnam: a must !
Loved it. Best beach in Vietnam: quiet, clean, not crowded. Food was fantastic, staff were very friendly and keen to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic view and great service. Back soon again!
It was a great first sight with the fantastic view over the bay and hearing the waves. The Hotels location is fantastic if you like some privacy and not to explored environment around. The Staff and the Management was great and very responsive, service minded and genuine proud of there work..

Beautiful Resort and Spa on the Beach
Lovely, quiet resort on a beautiful beach. Listen to the waves crash all day and night. Impeccably clean, friendly staff and the best massage I've had in Vietnam. Despite some renos, felt very peaceful. Highly recommend.

Came there again after 8years, but the resort didn't look old and different, even better. Service is excellent. Food is really good and cheap. Resort offer welcome cake and small sticky rice, yummy.
