"Spent lovely couple of nights at Peebles hydro - clean ,staff were friendly only criticism was of the bar stock - missing some basics spurts and mixers "

"Early check in went well and we were shown to our room which had everything we needed and was lovely and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept really well. Only criticism I have is the first impression on entering the bedroom block......was how dirty the carpet on the floor and stairs is which made me wonder if I should have booked the property. But entering the bedroom changed that idea and all was well."

"Single traveller, using the hotel as a half way stop during a long journey. Stayed just for one night. The staff, from the reception to the restaurant were absolutely fantastic. Knew my name and used it, I felt like their most important customer, even though the hotel/restaurant seemed busy. Hotel is clean and comfortable, room (8) is small but perfect for one person unless you really want to spread out or perhaps are staying a bit longer. Some of the pipework looks a bit "vintage" but to be honest all this does is to add to the overall comfortable charm of the place. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Would happily stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others. "

"Ideal location for visiting five sisters zoo and the alpine coaster. Room was dated but was spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. Check in staff were lovely as were the bar staff. Our room was on the ground floor and we were not disturbed from the car park or other guests. Would definitely visit again"
