Great place, great people. I was out partying from 4pm to 3:30am and staggered in and had staff check I’m good before letting up to bed. Woke up around 9am had breakfast and a shower and left. The room was great, bringing a girl back would be the only improvement I’d have made

It’s a lower cost hotel but is fine if you are looking for a good experience for business travel. Plenty of leisure people around too but mostly business - I was there on a Tuesday. Rooms fine, we’ll equipped, good shower. Not too much noise, bar/restaurant good if limited choice, but overall a better experience than in some.

We arrived at 4 pm laundry not arrive with a genuine reason . But when it was done slight stain on bottom sheet and only one towel . Also room was not secure when we booked in. Tv didn’t work at all , Curtain nets ripped in several places . Informed staff not interested no manager to talk to given a generic email address . Senior desk person didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience espaically the tv . As was doing the 10k race so like the background to chill out and missed the athletics on the Saturday night, only saving bit was location to race start which was my research not the hotel . Sooo disappointed more about the way this was not handoed didn’t feel very valued

The staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. We literally spent hours in the bar and restaurant because there was no where else we'd rather be. Everyone we encountered, from kitchen staff, front desk staff, bar staff, cleaners etc were so genuinely friendly and obviously enjoyed their work. I would not hesitate to stay here again because of that reason. The room was comfortable and clean. Stand out staff made this a 5* stay.

Ideal for our visit to the Curve Theatre in Leicester which was only a few minutes walk alway and in easy walking distance from train station. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

An Outstanding Budget Hotel 10/10
This is to be honest an outstanding Budget Hotel. Every member of the Team here were extremely Customer Focused, especially Sahim in the Bar / restaurant 10/10. The Hotel is just a few minute walk from the Curve Theatre.

Lifts did not work, phone in my room did not work. Staff were totally unhelpful and my whole floor stank of marijuana (the staffs response was "I can get some air freshener") . Avoid this hotel at all costs. Would give 0 stars if I could. Shocking. Only silver lining is that the location is good.

Brilliant friendly staff! Best I have come across!
The location for us was ideal as we were attending an event at Athena Theatre which turned out to be just a number of footsteps away from us. Much closer than expected. The multi-story car park patrons can use with a fixed charge was as close as you would exect to get at an hotel with ample parking. The best part of our stay was the wonderful staff who simpy could not do enough for you. They all seemed very happy in their job too which again added to our stay. Put it this way of we ever have to stay in Leicester again this hotel will be our first choice!

It was purely a sleep over stay, visiting family so didn’t stay around the hotel. Friendly staff that we met, would have preferred a bigger bed ( purely going on premier inn beds). Hairdryer not working. Quite noisy from outside but wouldn’t blame that on the hotel. Would have liked better parking facilities/disable parking as husband has a blue badge due to mobility problems. A little expensive just for a room to sleep in but thankful we could use tesco clubcard. Would stay again but only by using clubcard again so please don’t stop this benefit.

Lovely hotel but needs renovating as it’s very dated and furniture below satisfactory. The bed was very uncomfortable and cranky. The carpet on stair case was very dated and not clean. The chair for the desk was old, uncomfortable and made creeky noise, had this get this changed. The hotel stay were friendly. The breakfast was very average with limited vegetarian options. The veggie sausages were disgusting and couldn’t eat them. Requested for the sofa bed to be put down but the staff made excuses and changed my room. Again the sofa bed was open however upon directing the staff to put it down he did it after all. Called reception but no one answered so had to go down all the time.

Check in was okay, we thought we booked breakfast but they didn’t offer anything to sort it. Drops of blood on bathroom floor and when told about it they says they would clean it. We went back up and they missed half of the spots so blood was still left there! They didn’t make much of an apology at all! The fire alarm went off at half 6 in the morning and we were told it was a drunk man setting it off and again no apologies at all

Decent city centre hotel
The hotel is well located in the centre of town. Parking at the NCP car park was fine. The hotel had a decent breakfast. Overall it worked well as a location from which to explore the town. We would stay again

Modern fittings, great location
Clean and modern, and in a great central location. For me, the only negative point was the ventilation system that defaulted to 20 degrees - too hot for comfortable sleeping. The central location meant that I kept the windows shut to minimise noise, so it would have been nicer to have a cooler room. Otherwise, I had a comfortable two-night stay.

As soon as we checked in, we were told that there was a maintenance issue with the room and we had to switch to a different room. The new room was not clean at all, with hairs and bloodstains in the bed and a strong smell of sewage in the bathroom. We then switched rooms 5 more times, until we eventually found a room that was cleaned to a decent standard (all the other rooms had the same issues). This was over an hour after our initial check in. The manager then offered us a bottle of wine as compensation, neither of us drink wine so we asked for a discount instead. The manager was supposed to call later with confirmation but never did. I spoke to reception twice to ask for an update before finally having the discount confirmed. Breakfast was disappointing, even by budget hotel standards. The bacon and sausage were pale and cold, and the hash browns were burnt. There weren’t as many options as you would expect for a hotel of its size. Couldn’t find any teaspoons and glasses and mugs were less than clean. Eventually found ones that were satisfactory. Housekeeping is less than satisfactory with simple things that they should be doing like checking that the bedding doesn’t have hairs left on it or that there is shampoo/body wash in the bathrooms and that the toilets are flushed after they have cleaned it. Definitely will not stay here again.
