Staff is really nice and friendly. The hotel look old in side due to old carpets and stairs in bad condition.

Very skimpy on amenities. No coffee after 6 AM until around 4 PM. Rooms are beat up but they do a nice job cleaning and the staff is friendly. Our keys kept malfunctioning. We needed to ask for new keys somewhere between 8 to 12 time. No exaggeration. Again, the guy at the front was apologetic and quick to get us new keys, but come on.... Pool is tiny and in the shade all day. Adjacent to a car wash on one side and a gas station in the other. Across the street from a Ford dealership. Very unwalkable.

Convenient place to stay if you are going to the Tec de Monterrey campus, very clean with comfortable rooms and a small pool.

You get what you pay for
This is a good option for a value trip. Good quality, clean, ok service. Don't expect more. Or less. Used to be a better place. It feels that it has became old, while it may be less than 8 years old. Restaurant food, just ok. Attention, just ok. Good value.

Great hotel for couples, or business travelers
Staff was very attentive to details, and quite helpful. Hotel is almost brand new, so it's very clean and comfortable. Great for couples an business travelers, but not so much for families with small children.

Good, not good enough for 4 stars
The hotel is nice and clean, however not what you would expect for 4 stars. We booked 2 rooms with a king size bed, different reservation though, by the time we got to our rooms, one was two double beds and one king size, we asked to correct this, to which we were told the was a mistake, a guest who had been staying there for a while decided to stay a night longer and they changed our reservation, so we had to stay in a double bed room, no one informed us at the check-in and when we asked to fix the situation they seemed upset, when we asked to talk to the person in charge, told us the person in charge was gone and they can't help us but we can fill in a complain form which they would submit later. Really not the kind of service you would expect at a 4 stars hotel.

You get what you pay for
Room is clean but the hotel is old. Had a problem with the shower in the morning and the maintenance guy had not arrived. It took them 45 minutes to decide to give me another room to shower and had to postpone my first meeting in the morning.

Hotel Casa Cayala in Queretaro
Great hotel with the best staff, nothing was too much trouble. The room had a wonderful view and was in a good location. easy access to the city centre and local shopping and markets. Is also located on the street behind the University (Tech). Qiuet, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, with modern fittings.

Es un hotel que se nos recién remodelado, muy bonito y en buenas condiciones, muy limpio, sin embargo al personal le falta mucha preparación pues no dan buena atención, se nota que nunca habían trabajado para una cadena internacional que a su vez trabaja con otros proveedores de acumulación de puntos o cosas así.
