Pros: Price and lovely breakfast included Not a honeymoon cottage though!!!
Cons: What do you want for 50 bucks !!!! Nothing
Location: Rain forest and New marina They tell me great fishing charters.Beach not for surfing or swimming
Clean lovely small hotel 2 blocks from beach and bus terminal.Wonderful English speaking staff with breakfast included. Not the Beverly Hilton but clean and cheap if you need a place to stay to see the Rain Forest. Would stay again........John

Zweckmäßiges Hotel in Quepos

Posted 21-Jun-2016

Pay a bit more and stay somewhere safer

Posted 01-Jun-2016
When we pulled up to the hotel, I was very unimpressed. The streets are dirty and there are bars on all windows. Inside the hotel is awesome with beautiful murals, a nice pool and breakfast area. The receptionist was not particularly friendly. The room was nice enough with AC. I could feel the springs in the well-worn mattress. The local area feels sketchy. I walked across the street to the coast and some jerk in a souped up car tried to run me over, twice! There was a homeless guy talking to himself nearby. All evening there were little souped up cars racing around the streets. I would not stay here again.

Dirty room and unpleasant hotel - avoid

Posted 31-May-2016 on Hotels
Our room was very dirty with hairs in the bathroom, stained sheet cover. Asked to change, turned out the other two free rooms were as dirty as ours. Window had view to the corridor. Finally district was sketchy, did not feel safe. Avoid this hotel!
