"Perfect location to be near the stores and restaurants. Was a little disappointed that room cleaning was upon request, but overall the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would stay there again to enjoy the fresh waffles"

"Decent rooms, though worth noting that it's a place that has switched over some rooms (at least my room) from smoking to non-smoking, so a bit of residual smoke smell. Friendly staff and a solid free breakfast for the price. Across the street from Walmart and just a 1/4 mile from a Dunkin' (and other big chain restaurants just a bit further), so plenty of meal options and a place in case you forgot something at home. Would go there again."
Riverside Retreat on 425' of Allegheny River frontage with large, flat area

"This property really is so beautiful. The pictures do not do the space justice. We traveled with a group of 11 and our 2 dogs and there was so much more space and beds than we used. The outdoor entertaining/dining/firepit area was well lit for nighttime activities and had a pool table that we spent so much time using! The teens were happy that despite being in the middle of nature, the phone service was great. The property is SO private and the access to the Allegheny River was very easy with a large flat grassy lawn leading up to the river bank and a sturdy dock to enter the water. The river is so clean, mostly walkable and had a good enough current to tie up with tubes to lounge and to kayak (which were graciously provided by the host), but not too strong that we felt unsafe letting the younger kids wade around. There is a deeper area of the river with a stronger current but it was on the far side of the river away from the property. Still close enough for us to walk out and enjoy a more intense swim. The area also has plenty of local spots to get food, drinks and supplies so you are not stuck in the middle of nowhere. We love a rustic outdoorsy vacation and this checked all the boxes, Even a bear sighting on the final day (once our dogs were gone!) so it was a perfect way to end the week! Oh and the owner/host is right on top of his messages so was available for any questions we had! Great experience in a beautiful area of our country."

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at this house for a week in August. We spent about half the day in the stream and the other half exploring the local area. It was a great stay and it would be a place we would look at visiting again. Thank you"
