Enjoyed all aspects of my week’s stay at this hotel. Food was excellent, room was large and comfortable. Lots of information available on walks in the area. The owner and her two sons, Sebastien and Philippe, were most helpful. I’d be delighted to stay again.

Comfortable place, slightly dated but fine. Only spent one night and was pretty tired. Decent dinner set menu. Value for money was good

An excellent family run hotel.
It is excellent. The man gave the hiking information is much more detailed than the girl in the tourist office. Also, there was a problem about the WiFi in the first night, the man even shared his own phone hotspots for me. I was really appreciate what he did. And the problem solved the following day. The old lady is very kind too. When I went to Cauterets next time, I will stay this hotel again.

Stay at Edelweiss!
I would recommend the Edelweiss Hotel to anyone traveling in the Pyrenees. The owner and his mother run the place and were extremely helpful. He speaks fluent English and went out of his way to assist us daily. A very genuine and nice guy. The location to see the best sights is convenient. There were wonderful hikes to dramatic sites in the regions surrounding the hotel. The ONLY downside was the dirty towels we left on the bathroom floor were simply hung back up by the staff, to be reused. Their cleaning staff should know better. But our overall experience was a great one.

Great hotel in the centre of Cauterets
This is a great hotel in the centre of Cauterets, but down a quiet street. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I'll be staying there next time that I go to Cauterets.

Hotel typical small French hotel with menu of the day. Lovely rabbit but maybe not to everyone's taste. Warm welcome. We couldn't see much of the local area cos of fog!

Very Nice hotel. Lovely helpful staff. Ski Room downstairs. Wi-Fi not great but I think that is a function of being in the mountains rather than the hotel.

Nicely Updated Hotel
The Hotel Edelweiss has been recently updated and combines a fresh look and older charm. Phillipe and his family are helpful and interesting/interested. We learned a lot about the area and its history and got great ideas for hiking in the area, the main purpose of our visit.

Great hotel in Pyreneés
Only had a night here but would have happily stayed longer. Very welcoming and comfortable with friendly staff. Even a lift which although tiny does the job of getting luggage to the room. Dinner and breakfast available aware packed lunches if you are skiing or walking.

Les Edelweiss is great value
Manager was friendly and helpful. Room clean, comfortable, quiet. WIFI in room. Breakfast buffet with fruit, yogurt, breads, juice and hot drinks. Buffet was very nice. Hotel is Great value! Lift was large enough for two people and two bags. Stay was in early June 2012.

Une première impression mitigée puis au fil de la semaine nous avons apprécié le caractère convivial et familiale de cet hôtel restaurant, restaurant particulièrement excellent avec des produits locaux frais, repas équilibré d’un bon rapport qualité prix. L’hôtel est calme, la chambre spacieuse mais la Sdb-WC est étroite avec la douche dans la baignoire avec rideau, c’est le seul bémol. Dans l’ensemble établissement très correct avec un personnel familial aux petits soins.

Accueil convivial et chaleureux. Hôtel à l'ambiance familiale avec chambre Confort parfaite, literie de très bonne qualité, petit-déjeuner continental très correct (petit avec les gâteaux maison!). Emplacement ideal à 5min à pieds des oeufs menant à la station. Stationnement gratuit à proximité. Nous recommandons et reviendrons avec plaisir! Audrey & Tahi

Bonne prestation dans l'ensemble, mais un peu cher pour le standing proposé. Chambre spacieuse et literie correcte. Isolation à améliorer. Accueil sympa. Hotel bien situé et possibilité de parking dans la rue gratuit.

Bon hôtel et tres bonne hôte. Malheureusement séjour gâché par l'intolérance du monsieur qui ne supportait pas les enfants et leurs caprices. Dommage !

Le savoir-vivre : est une chose qui vous dépasse votre chambre etait une vraie porcherie ( bouteille d'eau par terre , banane , baguette , pièce de monnaie, crème de beauté jusqu au mur et couvre lit , pourriture avec de la bouffe partout sachant qu'il est formellement interdit de manger dans les chambres ce que l'on a toléré pour vous arranger avec votre petit , sachant que vous ne vouliez pas non plus vous payez un petit déjeuner dans l'établissement , le lait pour votre petit et vous même était chauffé tous les jours gratieusement... votre chambre était nettoyé tous les jours avec aspirateur et serpillère .on a tout changé jusqu'à alèse ... vous nous avez laissé une chambre dans un état pitoyable ... Concernant votre petit je lui ai répété trois fois de ne pas jouer avec la porte gentiment... Vous n'avez pas bougé d'un poil , bloqué sur votre portable , comment vous dire à votre enfant jouait avec la porte sachant que la température exterieure avoisinée le 0 ⁰ celsius... Alors gardez votre gâchis dans votre poche . Merci .la direction .et sachez madame que ma gentillesse et ma patience ont des limites ...

Accueil très sympathique et agréable petit déjeuner copieux et malgré que l’hôtel soit un peu ancien il est agréable et la gentillesse des hôtes n’a pas d’égal. Le village est par contre peu ensoleillé sauf en plein milieu de journée et pas très pratique avec des enfants pour monter à la station avec les équipements

personnel très accueillant. hôtel propre et fonctionnel. dommage que le lit soit un peu creux et mou. Petit déjeuner très varié et à volonté avec des pâtisseries maison en plus de tout le reste. salle de petit dej très agréable. Nous n'avons pas consommé au restaurant, donc pas d'avis.

Hotel familiar, uno de los dueños habla español. Muy simpáticos y amables. Tienen una zona dentro del hotel para bicicletas. Entorno precioso el de Cauterets.

Très bien situé dans une rue calme.
Hotel très bien placé, plein centre ville et proche des départs de chemins de randonnée. Hôtel propre dans une belle rue calme. Personnel aimable et accueillant. Mal insonorisé a l'intérieur de l'hôtel, et non climatisé (surtout pénalisant sur juillet aout). Pas de parking a l'hôtel, mais il est facile de trouver des places dans les rues adjacentes.
