Good overall short stay at Perpignan
One night transiting through Perpignan. Good overall stay, good facilities, particularly liked the back garden/seating area. Breakfast buffet ok but busy. Reception for check-in not very friendly but always staffed day and night. Afternoon and evenings lounge coffee machine closed for some reason.

We arrived at 01.00 pm and the room was not ready. We waited 30 minutes for the room to be cleaned after along journey with two kids. We got a smaller room than the one we saw on internet. There were no hotel parking. I had to drive to a garage parking which was very expensive.

Great walking distance to train station or old town. Hotel is clean but very simple and bare. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Parking available at hotel for 11 euro.

There is lots of space and an excellent bathroom. The food is solid and well priced without being spectacular. The room was a bit 'spartan' ; rustic black floorboards and a very small window which barely opened. Overall tbough, good value for the mo ey

Excellent hotel for our annual rugby trip
Once again another fantastic stress free pleasurable trip to Perpignan and the Ibis Perpignan centre hotel. Never had an issue in all the years we have stayed over now and the staff are all very friendly and helpful to us at all times even though i'm sure we're a little over boisterous at times due to sampling some of the the cities wonderful hostelries. The rooms although a little basic are always spotlessly clean and the beds are comfortable and the shower/bathroom is always clean and adequate for our needs, the only downside of the rooms is the lack of plug sockets, often only 1 in a twin room, and none anywhere near the beds to be able to use your phone in bed while charging etc but this doesn't make our stay any less pleasing it would just be nice to have the option to do that. There are also no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms either though these can be found in the hotel's dining room. Situated close to the city centre and the station makes this hotel an ideal base for our annual rugby trip to Perpignan and we never hesitate to return each year. From all the Giants fans in our group, Merci and we will see you next year!!!

Don't let first impressions put you off
Stayed here for 3 nights while working in Perpignan. I arrived at midnight after a long, long day. The receptionist was pleasant, but I was shocked at the condition of the hotel. The carpets were threadbare and the room looked like my 1980s university residence -minimal, flatpack furniture and woodchip wallpaper. Not a great start, but I fell asleep immediately and didn't stir until my alarm. Breakfast was a nice experience. Fruit, yoghurt, cheese, meats, pastries etc and good coffee. It didn't seem so bad. I came back at about 9pm and by 10, I had fallen asleep and didn't wake until morning. In realised that it was the bed. It was so comfortable. Usually I sleep badly in hotels. The 3rd night was the same. I ate in the hotel on the 3rd night. I'm vegetarian and am used to blank stares in France, but this was actually good. From what I could gather, many of the clients are regulars. The staff are friendly and the hotel is in a good location between the station and the historic centre. It certainly needs to be upgraded, but the bed, the food and the staff ensured that I left well rested and with a positive impression.

The hotel is located very close to the train station as well as to the city center. There is also a supermarket nearby just around the corner. The facility is very clean I had one of the best sleep in Europe. And the staff is so friendly and helpful. Wonderful stay.

Ok hotel, nothing special
The hotel was ok, but nothing special. Ibis hotels elsewhere are of a better standard. Staff friendly. Didn't like Perpignan as an area. I advised them in advance it was our 1 year wedding anniversary and we didn't even get a congratulations on arrival which was disappointing! When I have been to an Ibis for a birthday they have given us a complimentary drink or at least made us feel special. Saturday evening and not much open in the area. Car parking is a 3 minute drive away so not onsite. Wouldn't return unless needed a super basic stay reasonably central.

Regarding your Wedding anniversary, may I underline the fact that you did not book through the Accor or even Ibis websites. Your reservation was automatically integrated though our GDS, and there was no mention whatsoever that this was a special occasion. It is indeed in our tradition to make a special welcome on such special occasions, provided we have the information before hand. We suggest you mention this incident on the website you used when you made your reservation. Regarding the car park, I cannot imagine how more 'on site' it could be , since there is a direct access with a lift from the car park to either the rooms or the main lobby. Nevertheless, we are, again, trully sorry our efforts did not come up to your expectations. Best regards

Ideal for Rugby trip.
Always stay here for our annual visit to watch the rugby, hotel is in the centre a short walk from train station and bars/shops/museums etc. Staff are always very helpful and polite. Rooms are basic but clean and beds are comfortable enough for a decent nights sleep.

Hotel Ibis Centre
We had a very pleasant stay at the Ibis Centre. It is well situated, being within walking distance of the station (about 10 minutes away) and with a number of restaurants and bars all quite close. You have to pay extra for breakfast, but it was more than sufficient.

Comfortable Hotel Close to Train Station
I picked this hotel because it was reasonably priced and within walking distance of the train station. The room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. The staff were all very friendly and also helpful in directing me to the nearest grocery store as the main one for that area was under renovation during my visit. WiFi worked well.

Myself and my daughter came over for a few days over the easter period. When we got there and checked in we were very dissapointed in the room there was no tea or coffee facilities,the room was small and the towels looked like something you would clean the floor with and all we had to sit on was 1 wooden chair what looked like it came out of a garden. The hotel previously had a evening meal service but when we stayed the reception said they were not doing evening meals because its easter. This 3 star hotel is no different to the budget ibis that we had previously stayed in before. We went to look around the town and everything was shut. Overall we were very dissapointed in the whole visit.

Indeed, the main restaurant was shut over the Easter Holiday due to very low activity, but our snack service is available 24 hours a day throughout the year; we perhaps failed to suggest it and if it is the case we do apologize. Quite convenient to city centre and rail station
The hotel serves its purpose as a one night stop over and is not expensive. It is, however, bland and in need of a makeover. Under the carpets in the corridors is solid cement with no give and this does feel cheap. Ibis as a brand is generally good value for money, but this hotel needs some care and attention.

We left lights on car which was parked in the hotel car park. The following morning the 2 reception staff tried to find a battery charger for us, made more difficult by being holiday week end in France. They eventually found that the car park up the road had a charger which they were willing to let us borrow. Car fixed at no cost to us and thanks to the hotel staff.

Nice stay
We stayed for just one night and we were happy. The staff were nice and check in took about 2 minutes (our experience with every Ibis in Europe) and the bed was super comfy. The room interior wasn't super flash but very tidy, and breakfast was nice and there was a good selection of things to choose from. It's about a 10 minute walk to the train station and there's lots of restaurants nearby. Would happily stay here again.
