"A charming old fashioned hotel in a tiny picturesque village. The meal was excellent as was the breakfast. The only blemish to the stay was to find a charge of €10 to use their car park had been added to our bill. According to Hotel.com listing, free parking was one of the main attractions. We noticed this charge too late to query it."

"This villa is in a quiet corner of the village of Lavilledieu, yet is convenient for all the Ardeche has to offer. All the rooms are on one floor, and in particular include a large conservatory which opens fully into a small patio which is ideal for eating out. The hosts are very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. In fact my son was lent a bike to explore part of the countryside at no cost! The pool is also very inviting."

"The property is having renovations going on and the dining is very limited. The check in / reception area is set up in a little trailer where they also offer the extremely limited breakfast. The dining is a very small room with two tables. The rooms were cleaned and comfortable for the price. "

"On arrival the appearance is less than welcoming - untidy looking at best. Initial reception went well. Room was standard however the window blind had fallen off. Only one additional pillow was available - for two people staying in a double room? On reporting the room blind broken, despite being told "I'll come with you to look" I was kept waiting for 15 minutes, in Reception whilst other 'new arrivals' were dealt with. We were then just given a different room - obviously there were insufficient staff available in this instance which was unsatisfactory. The restaurant and bar area were very satisfactory as was the food provided for both dinner & breakfast. We have stayed several times at this hotel over the years but will be looking for a different one on our next visit as we pass through the area."
