We stayed at the four Seasons for 10 days. I am absolutely in love with Punta Mita. The four seasons is definitely the hotel to stay at because of the beach. They have both of the best beaches in the area. One thing disconcerting is that their is small bits of algae in the water. It doesn't really bother you but it sads because its due to the over fishing of parrot fish in the bay. We saw many local boats fishing in the area at sunrise and the Four Seasons let paying guests fish in the bay. They should probably stop that because algae kills the reef and with out the reef you won't have the amazing fish. Which is another highlight. All you have to do is walk out of your hotel as they have the best snorkeling! Our favorite restuarant at the hotel was Bahia and our favorite in Punta Mita was Sufi, which is on the property but not part of the hotel.
The hotel was fantastic. Great staff, awesome room, and in the middle of everything that we needed. The manager Horratio lined up surf trips, boat trips and took care of restaurant reservations. The roof top breakfast with the best view in Punta Mita is a great way to start the day.

My husband and I spent only five nights at this lovely hotel. We loved it! It was smaller and much more quiet than its sister resort next door (Palladium.) From the moment we walked in we were welcomed by the most friendly staff including Juan from the lobby bar with a drink in hand! Throughout our stay the friendly staff remembered our names and our preferred drinks! They were all fantastic. We spent the first two days in a jr suite and then moved to a master suite. The ocean view was spectacular and worth the upgrade! The food was amazing! We kept hearing about the ala carte restaurants at The Palladium but after walking through that resort a couple of times and having wonderful meals at The Royal Suites we never ventured over to Palladium for a meal! The menu for lunch and dinner changed every day and there were so many fantastic options. Jose, the chef, spoke with us nightly and offered his comments on the menu. The lobster served at dinner was wonderful. We were expecting the smaller langostina type of lobster, but the lobsters we were served were huge and had great flavor, it was hard not to have it every night (which we did!) Erick and his staff were kind enough to bring my husband two entrees nightly so he always had the best of both worlds. The dessert cart and Spanish coffee was always a wonderful end to a great meal! The breakfast menu stayed the same, but there were so many options that it never got old. Miguel brought us mimosas daily without us requesting them!
This time we brought my parents and toddler to the resort. All in all a pleasant trip. However we did notice some service issues throughout our stay. The highlight of our return visit was Miguel the visiting fine dining GM from Cabo who always keep an eye out for us and hustled the staff to keep good service at his Las Mariettas poolside restaurant.
It is really impressive! Off the charts! I stayed in the Brisa suite which must be about 2000 sq ft witj everything you need. Views are amazing, as the hotel facilities. Stop by local supermarket in vallarta or on the way to the hotel. You wont have a lot of options for snacks and other last minute needs in hotel. You might want to buy snacks, sodas, water, detergent, paper towels, etc. Beach is the best I have seen in the Pacific. I counted 7 pools, one infinity pool measuring like 400 ft long. If you wanna relax is the perfect place. If you or your kids want to be stimulated or entertained, find another place. Only one restaurant open at any time. Food is great but only few options. They strive to provide best service
My wife and I had a weekend get away to the Meson de Mita and found everything delightful. The value for the dollar is spectacular and you cant beat its location. On the Beach, with a Pool next to Si Senors restaurant which is the Class of water front restaurant district. The staff at the Meson was always helpful and polite. We would definitely return and recommend to friends.
