Hotel exclusivo, Un paraíso INOLVIDABLE "

Pros: EL PERSONAL altamente capacitado, muy amable y servicial, te hacen sentir en familia y no quieres regresar....
Cons: Es un Gran Hotel, que cumple con cualquier expectativa de descanso y calidad.
Location: El hotel exclusivismo , a 10 min del aeropuerto de Punta cana CON ESPECTACULAR UN CAMPO DE GOLF
Reservamos en este hotel por celebrar nuestro Aniversario de boda, y fue una estancia INOLVIDABLE"Punta cana es un paraíso, pero el hotel tiene de las mejores vistas al mar que es precioso, la estructura del hotel es un impresionante castillo medieval, pero sus instalaciones 100% modernas, tiene una variedad de restaurantes de gran nivel por ser all inclusive , entretenimiento todo el día, para todos los gustos, la cocina y alimentos de extrema calidad, las habitaciones muy limpias y románticas todas con vistas lindas. Pero lo mejor de todo es el personal altamente capacitado y sumamente amable y servicial, te sientes en familia y no quieres regresar....

There were nice things about the resort but, I found very little to do there, not enough activities nothing but Zumba at the pool, very disappointing the food was good but got tiring really fast. Just overall we were disappointed

It is important for us to mention that our entertainment follows our resort’s concept of luxury yet enjoyable atmosphere including live music, themed nights, fun foam parties at the pool, beach parties during the afternoon, live perfomance. In other hand, the location of our resort allows our guests to visit the thrilling and famous night life of Down Town Punta Cana and Bavaro, just 15 minutes away from us. Once again we regret we were unable to fulfill your expectations on this matter.

Second visit to Sanctuary

We stayed at this resort in May of 2015 and loved it. During our most recent stay, September 2016, the love for this resort has dwindled. This time we stayed in a suite and not in th castle. Pros: this resort is really close to the airport and most of the staff were friendly and accommodating. Claudio at the buffet, Enoki at the steakhouse, Eddie at the blue marlin, and last but certainly not least Stylin at the beach grill all went above and beyond to make our stay great! Cons: the only free access to wifi is in the lobby and it's extremely slow! There is no air conditioning in the lobby either. There were noticeable holes in the bed skirt and the floor of the suite seemed sticky. Clearly they didn't mop everyday. The gym could use some updating...equipment was rusty and some machines out of order. Also the gym is very small.

The staff at Sanctuary treat you like family

Pros: It is beautiful. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The staff is exceptional.
Cons: The only thing that could be slightly improved is housekeeping. This was only minor...we had to ask for towels and bath soap on a couple of occasions.
Location: Sanctuary is very secluded and quiet, also romantic. Nearby are many activities, though.
Sanctuary is a beautiful resort but the most wonderful part of our stay was the service provided by the staff. They treated us like family. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating from the workers who kept the beach clean and raked to the servers in the restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Sanctuary.

excelente atencion del personal, siempre con una sonrisa dispuestos a ayudar, la habitacion espectacular, no.3038, daisy, wilsa y J.T, en la recepcion del castillo, socrates y jorge en el rest blue marlin, enolki, maria y el chef de casa bella hacen que la estadia en el santuario sea inolvidable, a todos en general muchas gracias,

Pros: hotel was very nice
Cons: room service took long and food could be better
resort was very nice we had a good time. The steak restaurant was good we didn't care for the others. The breakfast buffet foods were cold so we had to order a fresh omelet everyday at the buffet. Most of the staff was very nice the roomservice needs improving

Beautiful facility!

Pros: Beautiful landscaping, stonework, and atmosphere
Cons: Include Lobster, we are right there on the ocean watching people catch lobster. At least offer it once a week.
Location: The local public beach is beautiful, bring cash to purchase lunch and cocktails.
The Sanctuary is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. There is organized events if you need a little more excitement in your vacation. We enjoyed the public bach next door as the water was more calm and crystal clear for snorkeling. My only complaint was I really expected more authentic spainsh cuisine and lobster was additional. You will be fed very well but with a lot of american food. We had the most talented and amazing server "Santo" You must seek him out as soon as you get there. He speaks really good english and goes the extra mile for guest satisfaction. He made every day there better and better and best! "Dalinson" is the BEST bartender at the resort if not the best compared to all other resorts we have ever stayed at. His special touch and dedication to mixology pleases your pallet. Santos made the trip extra special. We shared his name with another couple and when we ran into them the next day they said "Santo is the MAN" The facility is breath taking as the ancient stonework is just elegant and beautiful. We will be back Sanctuary!!

Disappointed

We spent there 4 nights from the 15th to 19th August. The beach and swimming pools are awesome but all the rest is a nightmare. The service and food are horrible. Except for 2 or 3 people (Stalyn, Mirabell and New York) the staff is not really working, they only look for tips. The rooms are big but with an ugly smell of mold. Changed the room twice. A waste of money.
