Awful sewage smell and they had the nerve to charge me $380 a week after I settled my bill for a disgusting room that smelled so bad it gave me an my wife headaches.

Amazing is an understatement, great service from every employee they were so friendly (special thanks to Frank and Rainel)/ the food was delicious and fresh and the hotel was beautiful itself, the activities were so fun and memorable. I definitely will be coming back again.

So much litter around the property, which will no doubt end up in the ocean. The rain gutter right outside the gate to the resort is stuffed with garbage bags, and there are blue and purple plastic cleaning gloves laying in many places on the pavement. Landscaping was dead in many places and weeds way overgrown. They also dump loads of sand on the beach every day which means the water has zero visibility (the sand washes back in the water) so any snorkelling was totaly impossible. Iberostar does it so much better in the way they care for the environment. Food at Sanctuary was very good. Entertainment was ok. Staff was nice. Resort was at 50 percent and they would not allow 1 hour later checkout, even though we offered to pay the 40 dollar charge. Not a bad trip, but we probably wont go back here.

This is a huge, beautifully maintained property. The food selections are delicious and fresh. The staff are beyond friendly and fun. Better than any place I’ve ever visited. It’s close to the airport. For an all inclusive, it’s the best one I’ve ever been to.

I loved everything about the property except that the beach is very small and half of it has lots of rocks that can hurt your feet and even make you fall when getting into the water

The Sanctuary is a beautiful meandering resort with multiple different residence types, pools and restaurants. This was our first all-inclusive, adult only resort. We were worried that we would be bored. We were not! Lots to do, or not do as you prefer. We would come back.

My wife and I stayed here for our Babymoon and this place is amazing. We absolutely loved staying here. The food at every location was excellent. The staff is incredibly well trained and are always looking to help us out. There was never any pressure to tip but it was always well appreciated. This was great for us because we had $400 stolen from our bags at the airport (forced to check a carry-on and unfortunately was easy access). Luckily still had $100 to tip. That being said the staff would have earned all $400 from us, so if you can, be generous to them. The site is clean, safe, fun, with tons to do. Exercise room was top notch. Drinks and breakfast/lunches were all perfect. We will definitely be back!

The food at this resort was excellent! Good quality, with lots of variety and options. The service was very good as well. The air conditioning in the rooms, not so good. Lowest setting on the thermostat was 22 C. Usually stayed 23 C in the room with the AC running non stop day and night. The pools and grounds very nice and well kept. The beach there is not for swimming. It is a small area that is rocky. The water is very murky as well. The beach area itself is fine for lounging however.

The hotel is beautifull,the pools and decoration, and the food is very good.I did not like the slowly service in room service,they give me a wine whit another name,the mantenaince in the wall of rooms ar bad in one restaurante the waiters have fightings in front of the customer,the service in the pool for the waiters is bad

The food was not as good as we expected. Its not a full 5 star although the staff does try very hard and were extremely nice. We wish the food was better

Overall our stay was enjoyable. Except some miscommunication issues at restaurants. Servers tend to forget to bring what was ordered or bring totally different order, mostly it is regarding drinks. So in my opinion service at restaurants needs better management.
