The location is beautiful and the property is clean but we expected better service from a resort that provides butler service. Upon arrival, check in was confusing and took much longer than anticipated, especially after checking in online, traveling most of the day, and arriving after check in time. Even though we met directly with our butler and reviewed what we would like to have in our mini bar daily, we felt like we had to beg to have it restocked. Robertico in the lobby bar was attentive, personable, and polite. The resort has a lot of potential but the inconsistencies are a big downside.

The property is very relaxing and quiet. Food offerings and menus are great and excellent but could use expansion and more options. The buttes service was amazing. Housekeeping and room service is spotty at best with many days lacking service. For a small boutique hotel, that was disappointing.

Hi I arrived at the hotel 4/15/24 and it did not appear as it did online . There is major construction going on leading up to the hotel . The hotel is outdated and the room was I was given was moldy and dirty . There are flies in my room and I cannot enjoy the swim up because there is no screen every time I go on the patio flies get into the room because there is no patio screen. I asked if there was a screen for the patio and received no response . I am not comfortable staying at this hotel it’s dampening my first time experience in Punta Cana . I would like a full refund . Please avoid at all cost false advertisement. First it’s not a resort it’s a hotel and dirty one at that . During my stay the power was shut off for hours , the food is horrible . There are flies and bugs in the room . Please do not book here . The staff are writing good reviews that are not honest . Very disappointing , when it rains water will leak into your hotel room. It was so bad I ended my vacation early and flew back home .

The hot water in the shower only worked if the sink was left running. The mirrors, coffee pots had rust on them. The language barrier was annoying. The butler, Firedigo....didn't do anything except take us our room and bring us our shiw Tickets. The food was just ok. I wouldn't return to this property.

The resort is perfect for couples looking for R&R. It’s quaint, clean m, not crowded, and has nice secluded areas. The beach is small, but clean and pleasant and the water is sublime! The infinity pool is excellent and the swim up room is a unique touch.

Room 3111 is right next to a not so clean area outside of the room. Which caused a lot of gnats to come into the room. There needs to be some sort of wall separating the area that was full of gathered seaweed.

The property is gorgeous. The outdoor furniture looks brand new. The grounds are always kept clean. I even saw men raking the the ocean for seaweed. I loved the swim up room. The water in all the pools was crystal clear. Our butler was Aroni and he was GREAT! We had a few hiccups along the way, but he was able to sort everything out quickly. Now on to the things that are in need of improvement. The young lady working in the coffee shop had the worst attitude of all the staff on the property. She was rude and our encounter with her was before we'd even seen our room, so imagine upon arriving being greeted by someone with such a nasty attitude? She does not need to be in customer service until she learns how to greet customers. Aroni addressed her and we chose not to use the coffee shop during the rest of our stay due to her rudeness. He manager needs to speak with her immediately. The man who works for the spa attempting to get people to sign up for spa services was entirely too aggressive. We told him several times that we had already booked our spa services and he continued to bother us, interrupt us while we were trying to enjoy ourselves, to keep asking us about the services we'd booked and who we booked it with. It was annoying to say the least. Even after he saw us IN the spa getting ready for our services, he still harassed us. The pool bar staff also needs more training on customer service. We were ignored so many times until again,

My recent stay at TRS Cap Cana left much to be desired. While some aspects of the resort were satisfactory, overall, it fell short of expectations. Firstly, the food was underwhelming. Despite high hopes for a diverse and flavorful culinary experience, the offerings were lackluster and failed to impress. The variety was limited, and the quality did not match the upscale ambiance the resort aimed to portray. Another notable disappointment was the pool area. Guests were faced with the frustrating reality of daily shortages of chairs, making it difficult to find a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy the amenities. This issue detracted significantly from the overall enjoyment of the resort experience. While some staff members were friendly, the overall service left much to be desired. There was a noticeable lack of urgency in attending to guests’ needs, with no one seeming particularly eager to assist. In conclusion, TRS Cap Cana was a mediocre experience at best, as the resort fell short in terms of food quality, pool amenities, and overall service.

The staff was absolutely fantastic! Everyone you passed greeted you with a smile and a greeting. My butler Maria went above and beyond. The food was just okay, but nothing to write home about, especially the morning breakfast buffet. My room was large and roomy. The daily room cleaning crew wasn’t consistent & I had to call more than once. But overall we had a nice time.

Great quiet resort for adults only if you are looking to relax. Our butler Carlos made the difference with his assistance in reservations and other tasks.

This was a short stay but the staff were super helpful and when I asked about a late checkout, they were very amenable for a small fee. The food ai had was all very good and I really enjoyed having breakfast bought to my room at no extra charge. A fun place to stay for a short stay.

The scenery was beautiful and property was clean. The room was out dated. The staff wasn’t as friendly as the wonderful staff I experienced with TRS in Mexico. The breakfast was horrible. There’s potential at this property. Just wish I had a better experience overall.

Extremely clean and relaxing good getaway if you like peace and quiet but careful on butler bookings vs resort bookings overall if looking to party and drink and dance a lot go to other TRS

Grounds were well kept. Bartenders were friendly. Food wasn’t the best. Service was inconsistent and terrible on some occasions. Check in process was horrible. Check out went well. AC in room didn’t work properly so evenings were uncomfortable when settling in for bed. Room service took longer than we were told and food was horrible.

A very polished resort, it lives up to its "luxury" description. I was there for a very short time, and yet was given all the support I needed to get the best out of the resort. Everything I could ask for was there and provided with a smile. And, it was more economical than many other "Adults only, all-inclusive" resorts in Punta Cana or Bavaro Beach. I am planning my next trip with my whole adult family here! A special shoutout to Oscar, who made sure I got reservations at TWO restaurants on my first night there. It turns out, the food at the first was too good to eat "modestly", and I could not have eaten a second meal 2 hrs later no matter how small! He also took care of notifying them I would not be coming. All around, a fabulous experience here.
